Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Relentless AD (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noel Spektor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Noel Spektor was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spektor wants to clinch and AD counters into the clinch. Nicely done. AD controlling the action here for a moment.
AD gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. AD throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. AD trying to control the position from guard on top but Spektor is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. AD pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Spektor is keeping the position for now. Spektor is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. AD wants to pass the guard but Spektor is keeping the position. AD has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spektor utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Spektor really doesn't want to stay on the ground with AD. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. AD wants to control from the top but Spektor keeps moving. AD slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. AD decides to stand back up. Spektor fails with the takedown and AD counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by AD. AD postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. AD trying to control the position from guard on top but Spektor is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. AD trying to move into half guard but instead Spektor has managed to sweep! Spektor is fighting to break AD's control of his arms but AD is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Spektor trying to stand up but can't free himself from AD's guard. Spektor looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Spektor tries to clinch up but AD circles away and keeps his distance. Spektor shoots and misses and AD counters with a nice double leg into side control. Spektor won't be happy with that. AD looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Spektor tries to get back to half guard but can't. AD wants to lay and pray for a moment but Spektor keeps working. Spektor struggling a bit here. Spektor is not content to let AD control the position. Spektor manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Relentless AD dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
AD with a poor takedown and Spektor counters with a nice leg kick. Spektor tries to clinch and AD counters with a nice double leg into side control. Spektor won't be happy with that. Spektor is looking to regain half guard here but AD keeps moving and retains side control. AD lands a decent elbow from side control. AD is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Spektor is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Spektor is trying to improve his position. Spektor stuck in half guard on the bottom here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Spektor tries to buck AD off but AD is having none of it.

Relentless AD overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. AD stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Spektor looks to clinch and AD counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Spektor's guard now. Spektor is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Spektor looking to hit a scissor sweep but AD is one step ahead there. Spektor is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

AD tries to free his leg and advance position but Spektor is retaining full guard. AD missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. AD has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Spektor is proving hard to escape from. Spektor trying to keep a closed guard but AD is proving a slippery customer.
AD has gone for a leg lock! Spektor slips out almost immediately though and dives into AD's guard.

Spektor would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Spektor trying to control but AD is working from the bottom. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Noel Spektor hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Spektor tries to clinch up but AD circles away and keeps his distance. Some wild striking there from Spektor.
Noel Spektor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Spektor throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. AD tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Spektor is in AD's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Spektor is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. AD stands up and waves to Spektor to follow him. Spektor misses with a takedown and AD counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. AD works his way into full mount! Both fighters are breathing heavily. AD trying to control but he's not successful this time.

AD looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. AD trying to control the action but Spektor is working from the bottom. Spektor gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. AD thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Spektor's head. Spektor wants to get back to full guard. Spektor tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. AD prevents Spektor from standing back up.
Spektor is staying active underneath AD, who seems content to just control the action from this position. AD is trying for a kimura here. Spektor looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! AD wins by kimura!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ester misses with a takedown and Alfedo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ester's guard. Ester working a defensive guard here.
Alfedo drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ester dives on top into guard. Alfedo wants to stand up but Ester is controlling him. Alfedo is adopting a defensive guard. Ester won't allow Alfedo to sweep him here. Ester trying to control the position from guard on top but Alfedo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ester might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Alfedo kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Alfedo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ester can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Ester preventing the sweep. Ester stands and steps away. Alfedo gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Alfedo tries to clinch and Ester holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Ester is trying to break the clinch but Alfedo is controlling him. Ester keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Alfedo's efforts to push away. Ester drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spoons throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Rogers tries for a takedown but Spoons sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Spoons moves in looking to clinch but Rogers pushes him off. Spoons keeps the fight on the outside. Rogers rushes Spoons and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Spoons can't get the takedown.
Rogers is trying to break free. With the fighters up against the cage, Rogers throws an elbow but misses. Spoons drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Rogers gets the underhooks and prevents it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rusty Spoons will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Rogers with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Spoons to score with a decent uppercut. Spoons stuffs the takedown. Rusty Spoons has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Rogers. Spoons throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beauford shoots in looking for a takedown. Borgia tries to sprawl out of it but Beauford keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Borgia manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Beauford scores with a push kick. Beauford fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Borgia, pushing him back against the cage. Beauford keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Borgia's efforts to push away. Beauford breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Borgia slips a straight right by Beauford. Borgia has managed to clinch.

It looks like Joe Borgia has been cut. Beauford tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Borgia tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Beauford drops Borgia with a big knee straight up the middle! Borgia is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Borgia is rocked! Borgia throws a right hand that Beauford ducks under and follows up with a left that Beauford also avoids with ease. Oh Borgia is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Borgia steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Beauford. That one must have hurt. Borgia is breathing heavily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Beauford connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Borgia covering up! Beauford comes in with a big uppercut and Borgia goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.

Morgan fails with the takedown and Thunder counters with a left and a right that stings Morgan. The fighters circle momentarily. Thunder darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Thunder lands with a nice body punch. Thunder clinches up with Morgan and pushes him back against the cage. Morgan tries to pull guard but Thunder won't allow it.

Thunder is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Morgan thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Thunder trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Thunder holds on and takes a little breather. Morgan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Thunder swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Thunder has control of Morgan's left arm, preventing Morgan from doing any damage. Thunder looking for a guillotine here but Morgan defends easily.

That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Thunder's guard. Morgan is looking for a kimura.
