The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deidl shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Oppenheim pinned against the cage. Oppenheim gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Smithson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Krueger does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

That was a close round but I would say that Duke Krueger will probably get the nod.

Rauma complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
