1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kain Kennedy! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kennedy throws a sloppy head kick and Blade makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Good leg kick by Kennedy there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Kennedy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Blade takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Blade takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Blade with a lazy takedown attempt and Kennedy makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Blade is breathing heavily. A chopping leg kick lands by Kennedy. Kennedy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kennedy plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Kennedy misses with a wild body shot. Kennedy misses with a head kick.
Kain Kennedy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kennedy connects with a high kick. Kennedy with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kennedy connects with a body shot. Kennedy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kennedy lands with a kick to the temple. Blade shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Kennedy goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Blade doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Kennedy throws a sloppy head kick and Blade moves out of range easily. Kennedy scores with a head kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kennedy lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Kennedy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Blade moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kennedy lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Kennedy fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Blade looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Kennedy lands a big head kick that sends Blade tumbling to the mat! Kennedy takes a step backwards and waves Blade back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Blade is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kennedy lands a big uppercut and Blade crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Blade looks OK. Kennedy waves Blade back to his feet! Oh Blade is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Kennedy lands a big head kick that sends Blade tumbling to the mat! Kennedy takes a step backwards and waves Blade back to his feet - he wants the finish!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kennedy lands with a big left! Blade is wobbled badly! Kennedy comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Blade to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chuck Moss! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moss tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Slater counters with a single leg into guard. Moss didn't expect that. Slater missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Slater looking to sit in guard and control but Moss gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Slater will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Slater on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Slater tries to get out of the position. Slater has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Moss has passed into side control.
Slater is trying to control Moss's posture but Moss avoids it. Moss wants to stand but Slater is controlling his arm. Moss decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slater doesn't succeed with the takedown and Moss moves into the clinch. Moss lands a damaging elbow.
It looks like Nate Slater has been cut. Slater missing with knees to the body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cameron closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. You can see the frustration on Gomaco's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Cameron controls the position from side control. Gomaco is trying to get back to half guard. Gomaco wants to control but Cameron postures up. Gomaco wants to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gomaco is trying to control Cameron's posture but Cameron avoids it. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Cameron tries to move into full mount but can't pass Gomaco's legs. Gomaco bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Gomaco scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Gomaco stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Cameron to get to his feet. Gomaco avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gomaco throws a nice inside leg kick. Gomaco has taken the fight to the clinch.
Cameron tries for a takedown. No joy.
Gomaco tries to circle away but Cameron has him pinned against the cage. Gomaco's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Gomaco shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Cameron with a lazy takedown attempt and Gomaco counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Gomaco.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gomaco is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Gomaco tries to break the clinch but Cameron is controlling the position. Gomaco wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Gomaco jumps guard and drags Cameron to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Cameron trying to control but Gomaco is working from the bottom. Gomaco trying to keep a closed guard but Cameron is proving a slippery customer.
Gomaco tries to land a sweep but no joy. Gomaco pulls Cameron in close to his closed guard and prevents Cameron from doing any damage or advancing position. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Cameron trying to control but Gomaco is working from the bottom.
Tyson Cameron has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Cameron shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Cameron was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gomaco is wriggling around trying to escape.
Gomaco on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Gomaco tries to get out of the position. Gomaco tries to hold on but Cameron postures up. Cameron lands a nice shot to the head. Gomaco is squirming around, avoiding Cameron's attempts to control the action. Gomaco is in all sorts of trouble here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cameron avoids the attempt from Gomaco to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Cameron looking to control but Gomaco is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Gomaco is desperately trying to improve his position but Cameron has a good base and remains in mount. Gomaco is working hard here to advance position. Gomaco is squirming around, avoiding Cameron's attempts to control the action. Gomaco is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Tyson Cameron will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Cameron shoots and misses and Gomaco counters with a series of strikes. Cameron will be more careful next time no doubt. Gomaco tries to clinch but Cameron is having none of it. Gomaco gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Cameron has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Gomaco is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Gomaco landing knees to the body.
Gomaco breaks from the clinch.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Gomaco shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Cameron is looking to stand up but Gomaco isn't so interested in that idea. Cameron keeping full guard, as Gomaco tries to pass. Cameron is working an open guard so Gomaco takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. A momentary lapse in concentration from Cameron enables Gomaco to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Cameron manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gomaco is pushing down on Cameron's leg trying to pass to half guard. Cameron is fighting to maintain full guard but Gomaco has managed to sneak the leg through. Gomaco winds up and cracks Cameron with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Cameron is breathing heavily. Gomaco throwing shots but Cameron is blocking nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gomaco decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Gomaco clinches up with Cameron and pushes him back against the cage. Gomaco pulls guard effortlessly. Gomaco pulls Cameron in close to prevent any damage.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Kelly Gomaco just wasn't active enough. Gomaco feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cameron pushes Gomaco off and scrambles back to his feet.
Gomaco rushes Cameron and presses him up against the cage. Gomaco successfully pulls guard.
Kelly Gomaco overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Gomaco scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Gomaco throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cameron was covering up waiting for the punch and Gomaco finishes the takedown easily into guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gomaco trying to control but Cameron is working from the bottom. Gomaco throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Gomaco stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gomaco shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Cameron is trying to defend but Gomaco finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Gomaco wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cameron keeps working. Gomaco stands up and beckons Cameron to join him on the feet. Gomaco pushes Cameron up against the cage in a clinch. Cameron gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Gomaco.
Gomaco trying to control the position but instead, Cameron has worked for underhooks and has pushed Gomaco into the cage. Gomaco has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Cameron is trying to keep an underhook but Gomaco manages to get the takedown into half guard. Cameron is looking to control Gomaco's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Cameron avoid being mounted? Gomaco uses his free foot to push down on Cameron's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Cameron.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Gomaco cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Gomaco landing strikes, looking to finish! Gomaco landing strikes from the mount and Cameron is in trouble! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gomaco looking for a guillotine from mount but Cameron is having none of it. Gomaco tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gomaco landing strikes from the mount. Cameron is looking to improve his position but Gomaco isn't that keen on the idea. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kelly Gomaco dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Gomaco darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Gomaco tries to pass to full mount but Cameron defends it. Well, if Gomaco is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Gomaco decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Cameron looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Cameron takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cameron misses with a takedown attempt and Gomaco counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Gomaco decides to return to a standing position. Gomaco clinches up against the cage. Gomaco has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Cameron avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Gomaco throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Camerons head. Gomaco drops down looking for an ankle pick but Cameron pulls his leg out and moves away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gomaco. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kelly Gomaco. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gomaco shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Cameron napping and manages to drive through into side control! Gomaco decides to stand back up. Gomaco clinches up against the cage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cameron looking for a takedown. Gomaco gets a trip takedown into half guard. Gomaco gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

Let's see if he can advance position further. Cameron blocking the ground and pound attempt from Gomaco. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cameron is refusing to be controlled, as Gomaco sits in half guard. Gomaco sitting and controlling from the half guard. Gomaco decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Gomaco shoots and misses so Cameron counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Cameron stopping the sweep attempt from Gomaco.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gomaco lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Cameron! Gomaco looking for a guillotine from mount but Cameron is having none of it. Gomaco wants to control the pace but Cameron is squirming around nicely. Gomaco is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Cameron is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Gomaco looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Gomaco wants to control the pace but Cameron is squirming around nicely. Gomaco pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cameron tries to reverse the position but Gomaco maintains control. Gomaco looking to control and managing it successfully.
And that's the end of the fight! Kelly Gomaco showed his dominance in that final round. Well Gomaco has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moya fails with the takedown and Mehoff connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Mehoff moves into the clinch. Mehoff escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Moya fails with the takedown and Mehoff counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Moya gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Mehoff counters with a left and a right that stings Moya. Jacques Mehoff has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damon Moya. Moya misses with a takedown attempt and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Moya looks gassed! Moya doesn't succeed with the takedown and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Moya misses with a takedown enabling Mehoff to counter with a crisp jab. Mehoff lands with a kick to the ribs.
Mehoff throws a leg kick which misses Moya's front leg but catches the back leg as Moya tries to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mehoff lands a big uppercut and Moya crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Moya looks OK. Mehoff waves Moya back to his feet!
Moya is rocked! Mehoff lands with a kick to the ribs.
Moya is still on wobbly legs! Can Mehoff finish him? This has been an exciting period of action! Mehoff catches Moya with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Moya forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
