3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Aristarh Grobokov! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grobokov shoots in for a takedown but Cena shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Cena bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Cena is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Cena tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Grobokov pushes Cena away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Cena gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Cena postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Cena is working to tighten is grip on Grobokov's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Grobokov has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Cena is really squeezing tight and eventually Grobokov passes out! Cena breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Erta Ale on the wrong end of a nice jab. Erta Ale moves to clinch but Nousiainen breaks away and Nousiainen counters by moving into the clinch. Nousiainen lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Erta Ale has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Nousiainen is working away from the top position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Erta Ale is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Nousiainen is tapping! Great win for Erta Ale!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McBrain falls off balance throwing a combination
and Punahilkka counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. McBrain fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Punahilkka on the side of the head. Punahilkka connects with a jab. Punahilkka displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as McBrain throws out the jab. McBrain throws a predictable looking body shot
and Punahilkka counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Bruce McBrain has been cut. Punahilkka shoots in for a double leg but McBrain sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. McBrain rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

McBrain throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Punahilkka stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Punahilkka throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McBrain's waist but McBrain gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Punahilkka off to one side. McBrain defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Punahilkka. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pekka Punahilkka. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Punahilkka with a nice cross. Punahilkka uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McBrain.
McBrain throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Punahilkka. Punahilkka avoids a lazy jab quite easily. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McBrain ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Punahilkka moves away. Punahilkka shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in McBrain's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Velmu throws a strike but Mustang rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Mustang preventing the sweep.
