McGarry throws and elbow that misses. Martensite uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in McGarry's guard. Nice move by Martensite! Martensite pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. McGarry is keeping the position for now. McGarry will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. McGarry has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Martensite can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Martensite got a little sloppy there for a moment and McGarry has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Martensite has managed to get both his arms back between McGarry's legs - danger averted. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
