2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Matheus Alves! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Felipe Paraventi and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alves ducks right into an uppercut from Prash. Prash scores with the left hand. Alves knows he should have avoided that one. Prash doesn't manage to clinch there - Alves circles away.
Prash throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Alves counters with a nice double leg into side control. Prash won't be happy with that. Alves tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Prash tries to escape but Alves is in control. Prash knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Alves on the ground. Prash throws Alves to one side and escapes! Prash misses the jab. Alves gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily enabling Prash to counter with a crisp jab. Prash throws a good cross that connects.
Prash shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Alves eats them both and turns towards Prash to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Prash pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Prash clinches. Prash is trying to force a seperation but Alves has the dominant position. Alves manages to break the clinch.
Alves tries for a takedown but Prash sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Netz Prash is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Alves closes this distance looking for a takedown but Prash circles away. Netz Prash has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matheus Alves. Alves takes one on the button. Prash is looking to clinch. Prash ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Prash fails in his attempt to clinch. Prash uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Prash lands with a nice combination. Alves backs away looking to recover. Prash throws a combination that misses and Alves counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Prash wants to get back to his feet.

Prash makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Prash tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Alves paws at him with a jab and circles away. Prash swinging wildly here.

and Alves counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Prash kicks off Alves and gets to his feet. Prash lunges at Alves with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Alves's hand. Prash clinches. Alves's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Prash misses with a body kick. Prash looking to land some kicks to the body here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Prash works the jab nicely. Alves shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Prash pinned against the cage. Prash gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Alves has a takedown stuffed. Alves looks gassed! Prash throws a combination that misses and Alves decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Prash's guard. Prash wants to get back to his feet but Alves is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Alves gets to his feet. Prash looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Prash connects with a good right hand that stumbles Alves. Alves circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Prash misses with a jab, cross combination.
Prash scores with a crisp jab that stopped Alves in his tracks. Alves with a poor takedown and Prash counters with a nice body shot. Prash slaps away a takedown attempt from Alves, before circling back to the center of the mat. Prash scores with a punch to the head. Alves's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Prash connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Alves scrambles back to his feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Prash connects with a looping right hand.

Matheus Alves dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Prash's corner calls for a 1-2. Prash obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Netz Prash is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Prash uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Alves has time to react. Jab by Prash. Prash tries to clinch but Alves moves out of range. Prash tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Alves manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Alves misses with a takedown and Prash counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Prash sizes up Alves with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Prash leaves Alves with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Danga de danga de dang - Prash scores with a four punch combination! Alves tries for a takedown but Prash circles away easily and Prash counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Netz Prash has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matheus Alves.

and Alves counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Alves is breathing heavily. Prash makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Prash bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Alves's head backwards. Prash scores with a jab to the body. Prash tries to clinch there but Alves circles away.
Prash lands a nice hook to Alves's body. Alves takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Netz Prash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A left lands for Prash. Prash displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Alves. Prash throws a series of strikes that have Alves backpedaling.
The fight stays on the outside here - Prash looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Prash cracks a nice hook into Alves's ribs. Alves has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Prash tries to clinch but Alves moves out of range. Prash throws a right and a left that Alves avoids nicely. Prash swinging wildly here.
Prash lands with a nice body punch. Prash tries to close the distance and clinch up but Alves swats him away and circles back towards the center. Prash fails in his attempt to clinch. Alves shoots in looking for a takedown but Prash manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Alves's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Prash fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Prash lands an overhand right.

and Alves counters with a takedown into side control. Prash is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Alves is controlling him well. Prash explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Prash throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Alves. Prash throws a lazy head kick and Alves decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Prash's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Prash has his feet on Alves's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Prash throws a right and a left that both miss. Prash lands a head shot. Alves gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Prash counters with a nice uppercut. The fighters circle momentarily. Prash darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Alves circles away from the clinch attempt.
Prash connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Alves's hands. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Prash throws a one two combo.

Matheus Alves showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Alves with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Prash to score with a decent uppercut. A cross from Prash lands. Prash throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Alves stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Prash misses with a kick to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Prash tries to close the distance and clinch but Alves swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Jab by Prash. Prash misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Alves.

Prash scores with a sloppy right hand. Alves should have avoided that one. Alves closes this distance looking for a takedown but Prash circles away. Netz Prash has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matheus Alves. Alves takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Alves takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Prash is looking to clinch. Prash lands a two punch combo.
Alves shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Prash counters with a stiff right hand. Prash feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Alvess jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Alves with a lazy takedown attempt enabling Prash to counter with a crisp jab. Alves with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Prash to score with a decent uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Prash throws a head kick but Alves moves out of range.
Alves takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Prash changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Prash connects with a single shot there. Prash lands a slapping body shot.
Prash throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Prash throws a half hearted mid kick. Prash scores with a decent looking hook. Prash gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Alves breaks the clinch.

Prash is trying to break the clinch but Alves is controlling him. A short right hand to the side of the head by Prash. Alves keeps control of Prash as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Prash is trying to break the clinch but Alves is controlling him. Prash wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Prash's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Prash misses with a kick to the body.
Prash throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Alves counters with a takedown into side control. Prash pushes Alves away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Alves gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Alves decides to stand back up. Alves steps back and let's Prash get back to his feet. Alves avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Prash misses with a left hand and Alves counters with a nice double leg into guard. Matheus Alves is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Prash on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Prash tries to get out of the position. Alves wants to stand but Prash is controlling his posture from full guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De Celio misses with a takedown attempt - Ma sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Ma lands a straight punch to the body, keeping De Celio at a distance.
De Celio looks gassed! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! De Celio takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Ma feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends De Celio sprawling to the canvas! De Celio rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Ma finish him?!
It looks like Felipe De Celio has been cut. Ma lunges in with a left hook that violently twists De Celio head around and knocks him out cold! Ma hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

Terrible's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Terrible shoots for a takedown but Purell saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Purell lands a left and a right that send Terrible crashing to the mat, dazed. Purell thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Terrible is breathing heavily. Purell stuns Terrible with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Purell throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Purell is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Terrible rather than just go for the knockout. Purell throws a right hand that Terrible ducks under and follows up with a left that Terrible also avoids with ease. Purell works Terrible's body with a nice hook. Purell thows a body shot but no joy. Good work by Terrible as he checks the leg kick. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A head kick by Purell misses and Terrible counters with a low kick, right behind Purell 's knee. Purell listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

Floyd Purell dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ivan Terrible's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Purell looks to land a combination but Terrible avoids it well. Purell avoids a kick to the body.

and Terrible counters with an inside leg kick. Purell throws a combination that misses and Terrible counters with a good low kick that Purell was not able to check. Terrible throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Purell. Terrible will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Terrible moves out of range of the strikes. Terrible plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Terrible moves forwards but Purell connects with a nice, crisp jab. Terrible lands a nice leg kick that just misses Purell's sensitive parts. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Good leg kick by Terrible there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Purell throws a hook to the side of Terrible's head but Terrible sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Purell on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Purell misses with a double jab

Huber pushes down on Costa's leg and manages to get into half guard. Costa is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Huber's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Huber's back! Huber tries to escape but Costa has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Costa has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Huber! Can he survive? No! He's out! Costa gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bman throws a sloppy head kick and Silva counters with a series of strikes. Bman will be more careful next time no doubt. Bman doesn't manage to clinch there - Silva circles away.
