Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sthawy Sthowp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Remy Garmin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sthowp might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Blind Guardian - Into the Storn. Garmin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rebelote Psy'4 De La Rime kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Remy Garmin acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Vulture shoots in looking for a takedown but Melo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Vulture's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Vulture looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Melo is fending him off so far but Vulture persists. Nope, Melo circles away and we're back to standing.
Vulture shoots in but no luck this time.
Sergio Melo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Vulture.
Melo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Vulture shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Melo's guard.

Melo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Vulture doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Melo is tightening it up a little... Vulture has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Vulture reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Vulture taps out! nice BJJ there by Melo!
