Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Baeddan Mc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Kraken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mc comes to the cage accompanied by The Choice Is Yours (This or That) by Black Sheep. Kraken comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Battle Without Honor Or Humanity kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The Kraken has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Baeddan Mc!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, The Kraken!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good shot there by Kraken.
Kraken stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kraken wants it to stay on the feet.
Mc misses with a kick to the body.
Baeddan Mc seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Mc.
Mc fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Mc fails with a takedown attempt.
Mc ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kraken moves away.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Mc dives in and scores a takedown into Kraken's guard.
Mc with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Kraken keeping moving, preventing Mc from controlling successfully.
Mc distracts Kraken with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Mc working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Mc throws a big right hand that misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mc wants to control from the top but Kraken keeps moving.

Mc postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kraken is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Mc, into his guard.
Mc doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Kraken scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Mc is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Kraken wants to pass the guard but Mc is keeping the position.
Mc tries to land a sweep but no joy.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kraken cracks Mc with a solid left hand.
Kraken trying to control the position from guard on top but Mc is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Kraken passes Mc's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Mc misses with some strikes from the bottom.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kraken connects with a nice short shot to Mc's temple.
Kraken throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Mc is looking to control Kraken's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mc avoid being mounted?
Mc tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Kraken has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Mc has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Mc is squirming around, avoiding Kraken's attempts to control the action.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Mc tries to lock up and control but Kraken gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Kraken lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mc is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Kraken working away from the top, dropping strikes.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Mc is trying to escape the mount.
Mc taking shots to the head.
Mc tries to hold on but Kraken pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Baeddan Mc will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Mc chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kraken can pounce on him.
Kraken jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Mc misses with a lunging right hand
and Kraken counters with a right hand to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kraken attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Kraken cracks Mc with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Mc looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Kraken finish him?

Mc is rocked!

It looks like Baeddan Mc has been cut.
Kraken throws a leg kick which misses Mc's front leg but catches the back leg as Mc tries to avoid it.
Oh Mc is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kraken ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Mc out cold! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). The Kraken!
