Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Matos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lusiana Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lucas Matos had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 172.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Lucas Matos has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Matos fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Silva sprawls well initially but Matos persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Matos is trying for a kimura here. Silva looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Matos wins by kimura!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mateando feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Kim wants to stand and escape but Mateando is having none of it. Mateando is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Mateando's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Kim wants to stand and escape but Mateando is having none of it. Mateando slips nicely into half guard. Mateando maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Kim could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Mateando has cracked it and Kim is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Mateando!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Letica looks to land a body kick but Hibiki moved away. Letica stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Letica wants it to stay on the feet. Hibiki shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Hibiki was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Letica tries to lock up and control but Hibiki gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Letica squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Letica tries to reverse the position but Hibiki maintains control. Letica avoids a series of strikes thrown by Hibiki.

Letica tries to work over Hibiki's front leg with a kick but Hibiki checks it. Letica darts in and clinches Hibiki up against the cage. Hibiki has Letica pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Letica manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Hibiki looks gassed! Hibiki has picked Letica up - he's going for a ride! Hibiki dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Letica is looking to control Hibiki's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Letica avoid being mounted? Letica is trying to stand back up but Hibiki is controlling him

Hibiki shoots in looking for a takedown but Letica manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hibiki's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Ryoga Hibiki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hibiki closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Letica wants to control the action here but instead Hibiki manages to pass to full mount! Letica tries to lock up and control but Hibiki gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Letica regains half guard.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Hibiki postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Letica to stand up. Hibiki shoots in and drives through. Letica sprawls well. Left hook, right uppercut from Letica. Letica tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hibiki manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Hibiki tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Letica swivels and escapes. Hibiki circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hibiki shoots and misses and Letica counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Hibiki doesn't succeed with the takedown and Letica counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Hibiki misses with a takedown attempt - Letica sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. A punch combination from Letica misses. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Letica swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Letica enables Hibiki to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Letica manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Hibiki postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Hibiki thows a big elbow that misses. Hibiki tries to free his leg and advance position but Letica is retaining full guard. Letica wants to stand up but Hibiki is controlling him. Letica is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Hibiki dives into side control.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Letica is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Hibiki gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Letica lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hibiki circles away quickly and effectively. No luck for Hibiki with that takedown attempt. Hibiki takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Hibiki fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Letica pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Hibiki back to the cage. Letica follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Hibiki avoids a punch combination nicely.

Letica is fighting to maintain full guard but Hibiki has managed to sneak the leg through. Hibiki passes the guard and advances to mount!

That's nine minutes gone in the round. Horrible takedown by Hibiki or perhaps it was just good defense by Letica which made him look bad. Letica tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hibiki swats him away and circles back towards the center. Hibiki misses with a takedown attempt and Letica counters with a nice uppercut. Letica throws a right and a left that both miss. Hibiki tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Letica swivels and escapes. Hibiki dives in and grabs Letica's left leg, looking for a takedown. Letica pushes down on Hibiki's head and hops out. Letica misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Letica tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hibiki swats him away and circles back towards the center. Letica connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Letica moves into the clinch. Hibiki drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Letica gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Hibiki is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Hibiki tries a knee to the head but Letica blocks it.
And that's the end of the fight! Ryoga Hibiki comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Hibiki has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

It looks like Thiago Souza has been cut. Monzon fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Souza, pushing him back against the cage. Souza wants a takedown but no success here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bacca fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Junio has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Junio shoots and misses and Bacca counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Junio is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bacca's half guard. Junio working over Bacca with some ground and pound. Bacca looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Bacca keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Junio throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Junio is thwarting Bacca's attempts to control the position. Bacca regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Junio. Junio thows a big elbow that misses. Junio postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Junio lands a couple of decent looking shots.
