1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Jason! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Furbloode fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Jason tries for a takedown but Furbloode circles away easily and Furbloode counters with a nice double leg into guard. Furbloode looking to sit in guard and control but Jason gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Jason thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Jason wants to pass the guard but Furbloode is keeping the position. Jason drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jason jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Furbloode knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jason on the ground. Jason looks gassed! Furbloode wants to control but Jason passes easily into half guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ward scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Ward lands a jab-cross combination. Ward throws a series of punches but Jitsu avoids them all with ease. Some wild striking there from Ward.
Ward avoids a kick to the body.
Ward looks to land a combination but Jitsu avoids it well. Jitsu fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ward, pushing him back against the ropes. Jitsu escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jitsu moves into range and clinches up with Ward. Jitsu decides to pull guard. Jitsu is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Ward trying to stand up but can't free himself from Jitsu's guard. Jitsu wants to stand but Ward is controlling the position. Jitsu lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Ward!
That's one minute gone in the round. Jitsu manages to capitalize on a mistake by Ward to take his back! Ward can't escape the position.
Jitsu has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Jitsu keeps control of the position as Ward tries to break free.
Jitsu is trying to stick to Ward's back but Ward is turning into Jitsu. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Jitsu's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Ward. Jitsu is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Ward has gone for a leg lock! Jitsu slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ward's guard. Ward is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jitsu is aware though and is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jitsu wants to control from the top but Ward keeps moving. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jitsu wants to pass the guard but Ward is keeping the position. Jitsu is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Ward has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Jitsu is looking to defend but Ward has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Jitsu! Ward pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Jitsu taps out and this one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sofistieras closes the distance and clinches up with Bicki, looking for a takedown. Sofistieras pushes Bicki against the ropes but Bicki circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Bicki shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Sofistieras eats them both and turns towards Bicki to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Bicki lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Sofistieras fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Sofistieras plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Sofistieras darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sofistieras wants to work for an arm triangle but Bicki is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brewer takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Freire has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Brewer. Freire closes this distance looking for a takedown but Brewer circles away. A left and a right from Brewer both land. Nice combination. Brewer goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. A nice inside leg kick there by Brewer. That's going to slow Freire down. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Some wild striking there from Brewer.
Brewer lands a nice hook to Freire's body. Freire takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Freire misses with a takedown attempt - Brewer sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Freire shoots in for a takedown but Brewer shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Patricky Freire. That's going to take a lot out of him. Freire is breathing heavily. Brewer feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Freires jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Brewer misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Freire misses with a takedown attempt - Brewer sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Brewer lands with a good body shot. Brewer tries to bum rush Freire with a series of wild strikes but Freire uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Brewer lands a big head kick that sends Freire tumbling to the mat! Brewer takes a step backwards and waves Freire back to his feet - he wants the finish!
That's one minute gone in the round. Oooooh!!! Brewer has knocked Freire down with a huge combo! Brewer steps away and waves a wobbly Freire back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Brewer lands with a slapping head kick. Brewer stalks Freire and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Freire's face. Freire staggers backwards, shaken. Brewer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

This has been an exciting period of action! Brewer lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Freire backs up against the ropes.
Brewer throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Brewer looks to land a combination but Freire avoids it well. Brewer misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Brewer bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Freire's head.

Mitch Brewer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A combination from Brewer does no damage. Brewer getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Brewer is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Freire rather than just go for the knockout. Freire ducks right into an uppercut from Brewer. Brewer thows a body kick. Freire tries to catch it but that hurt him. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Brewer. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Brewer. Freire shrugs it off though. Brewer fails to land with a series of punches.
Brewer scores with a jab to the body. Freire tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Freire takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Freire crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Brewer - the referee stops the clock and Freire gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Brewer. Freire manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Brewer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Brewer misses with a head kick.

Brewer cracks a nice hook into Freire's ribs. Freire tries to clinch but Brewer moves out of range. Patricky Freire seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brewer dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Freire. That did some damage! Brewer throws a right hand that Freire ducks under and follows up with a left that Freire also avoids with ease. A bone on bone clash there as Freire blocks the leg kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Brewer lands with a slapping head kick. Freire is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Freire tries to clinch but Brewer is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brewer swats away the attempt to clinch by Freire. Mitch Brewer seems to be getting the better of the standup. Brewer stuns Freire with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Brewer with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Brewer uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Freire has time to react. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Brewer with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Brewer lands with an overhand left. Brewer has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Brewer lands with a kick to the temple. Freire shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Brewer lands with a big left! Freire is wobbled badly! Brewer comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Freire to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
