The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Sullivan. That did some damage! Lee tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Sloppy strikes from Sullivan. Those never looked like landing. Lee takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Lee shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Lee misses with a two punch combination.
Oooooh!!! Sullivan has knocked Lee down with a huge combo! Sullivan steps away and waves a wobbly Lee back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sullivan looks gassed! Lee seems to have got his legs back now. Lee postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sullivan is wriggling around but Lee manages to pass to half guard.

Sullivan wants to get back to his feet but Lee is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Lee lands a couple of decent looking shots. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Lee decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Lee throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vlad Trance! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trance has his takedown stuffed letting Matters counter with a right hand. Trance tries for a takedown but Matters circles away easily and Matters counters with a series of strikes. Trance will be more careful next time no doubt. Trance has his takedown stuffed and Trance takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Mike Matters has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vlad Trance. Matters throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Trance on the side of the head. Vlad Trance seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Matters misses with a double jab.
Trance closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Matters quickly recovers to half guard. Matters is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Trance pulls his head out easily. Matters keeping control of the position. Matters trying to control from the bottom.

Matters has left one of his arms exposed and Trance doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Matters screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
