Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Rick Dick! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Rob Smalling! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Chris Edwards and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smalling misses with a two punch combination.
Sloppy strikes from Dick. Those never looked like landing. Dick fails to land with a series of punches.
Dick tries to close the distance and clinch up but Smalling swats him away and circles back towards the center. Dick clinches up against the ropes. Smalling is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes. Dick's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Smalling checks a leg kick. Smalling has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Rob Smalling has been cut. Smalling throws a nice looking combination but Dick bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Smalling!
Dick drops his hands momentarily and Smalling takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Smalling misses with a few strikes there.
Dick misses with a two punch combination.
Dick throws a sloppy head kick and Smalling counters with a stiff right hand. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Smalling misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A shot to the liver by Smalling. Beautiful body shot. Dick tries to bum rush Smalling with a series of wild strikes but Smalling uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Smalling throws a right hand that Dick ducks under and follows up with a left that Dick also avoids with ease. Dick tries to clinch up but Smalling circles away and keeps his distance. Dick rushes Smalling and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Dick manages to break the clinch.
Dick is looking to clinch but Smalling is avoiding it.
Dick throws a combination that misses and Smalling connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Dick throws a lazy uppercut
and Smalling counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Smalling throws a right hand that Dick ducks under and follows up with a left that Dick also avoids with ease.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smalling cracks a nice hook into Dick's ribs. Dick tries to clinch up but Smalling circles away and keeps his distance. Rick Dick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dick misses with an uppercut
and Smalling counters with a three punch combo that has Dick backing up. Dick nods at Smalling to acknowledge the strikes. Smalling feints a jab promting Dick to slip. Smalling then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Dick slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Dick is rocked! Dick is breathing heavily. Smalling drops Dick with a big left hand! Dick is injured, injured bad! Smalling jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stag is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bangs's half guard. Bangs moves into full guard.
Stag tries to free his leg and advance position but Bangs is retaining full guard. Bangs is striking from the bottom but Stag uses the opportunity to pass into half guard. Stag slows the pace down in half guard. Stag uses his free foot to push down on Bangs's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bangs. Stag tries to control but Bangs wriggling away. Bangs is in all sorts of trouble here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stag goes for an armbar but Bangs turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Bangs. Bangs works a leg free and moves into half guard. Bangs passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Stag! Bangs tries to push Stag's head away but Stag is holding on tight. Stag blocking the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bangs goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Stag is on top in guard.
Stag slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Bangs is trying to get back to half guard. Stag tries to move to mount but Bangs blocks the move with his legs. Bangs striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
Bangs is trying to improve his position. Bangs is not content to let Stag control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stag is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bangs knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Bangs is looking to reverse the position. Bangs manages to get back to half guard. Stag trying to control from half guard but Bangs is working away. Stag is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Shockey connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Aplestair's hands. Shockey has managed to clinch.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! ONeill ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. ONeill throws a right and a left that both miss. Brown misses with a takedown and ONeill counters with a nice uppercut. Brown fails with the takedown and ONeill counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Brown throws a head kick but ONeill moves out of range.
