The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boyer darts in and clinches Singh up against the cage. Boyer jumps guard.
Singh won't allow Boyer to get back to his feet. Boyer lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Singh! Boyer get's back to his feet. Boyer closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Boyer is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Singh gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Boyer has taken the fight to the clinch.

16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Goat! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Durrani thows a body shot but no joy. Durrani tries to clinch there but Goat circles away.
Durrani connects with a solid leg kick. Goat misses with a body shot.
Goat stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Durrani. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Goat misses with a right hand and Durrani counters with a stiff right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Goat misses with a shot to the body and Durrani counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Durrani throws a hook but Goat avoids it easily. Durrani takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Durrani's corner calls for a 1-2. Durrani obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Durrani scores with a nice strike.

Durrani slaps away a takedown attempt from Goat, before circling back to the center of the mat. Goat shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Goat throwing strikes here but Durrani is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Goat lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Durrani hang on? Durrani holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Goat tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Durrani regains half guard. Goat is looking to advance position but Durrani won't allow it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Goat trying to control the action but Durrani is working from the bottom. Durrani has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Goat is working away from the top position though.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Goat turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Goat throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Goat keeps the fight on the outside. Goat throws the left hand but Durrani avoids the punch easily. Goat misses the shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Goat feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Durrani keeping moving, preventing Goat from controlling successfully. Goat is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Durrani working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Goat. Goat stopping the sweep attempt from Durrani.

Goat might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Durrani kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Billy Goat hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Goat closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. and Durrani counters with a nice low kick that buckles Goat's knee momentarily. Durrani explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
