The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winfield bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Thai pushes Winfield away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Winfield gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Cartman lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Brand seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Cartman shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Brand is backing up but Cartman catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Brand covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Cartman Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Pray feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
