Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, James Hellwig!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hellwig connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between The Pitbull's hands.
Hellwig fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

The Pitbull dives in and scores a takedown into Hellwig's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The Pitbull trying to control the position from guard on top but Hellwig is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hellwig preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Hellwig wants to stand but The Pitbull is controlling the position.
The Pitbull has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hellwig is proving hard to escape from.

Hellwig throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
The Pitbull lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

The Pitbull throws a big right hand that misses.

Hellwig is looking for a triangle but The Pitbull pushes his legs off easily.
The Pitbull trying to control but Hellwig is working from the bottom.
Hellwig wants to stand and escape but The Pitbull is having none of it.
Hellwig keeping full guard, as The Pitbull tries to pass.
The Pitbull postures up in Hellwig's guard and throws a big left but Hellwig blocks it.
The Pitbull stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hellwig swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The Pitbull postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The Pitbull looking to sit in guard and control but Hellwig gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The Pitbull pushes a forearm under Hellwig's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Hellwig is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
