Hyun Sudo's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The fight stays on the outside here - McPherson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rivera throws an overhand right that lands on McPherson's shoulder, as McPherson tries to avoid the shot.
Rivera takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

McPherson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - McPherson lands in his opponent's guard.

McPherson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rivera swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Rivera wants to stand but McPherson is controlling the position.

McPherson trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Rivera manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

McPherson looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Rivera wants to get up but he can't break McPherson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rivera stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McPherson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Rivera has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing McPherson to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Rivera is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - McPherson pulls down on the head and he's put Rivera to sleep! This one is all over!
