James Harvey told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from Harvey both land. Nice combination.
Gayce takes one on the button.
Harvey fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gayce looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Nice jab there from Harvey.
Harvey lands with a good body shot.
Harvey lands with a nice combination. Gayce backs away looking to recover.
Harvey throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gayce on the side of the head.
Harvey wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Harvey stalks Gayce and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gayce's face. Gayce staggers backwards, shaken.
Gayce shoots for a double leg takedown but Harvey sprawls well. He's pushed Gayce's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Harvey lands a two punch combo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gayce shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Harvey pinned against the cage. Harvey gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Harvey scores with a nice head shot.
Gayce shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Harvey as he jumps to the side.

Harvey feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Gayces jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Harvey cracks a nice hook into Gayce's ribs.

A jab from Harvey does it's job there.
Harvey has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Harvey feints a jab promting Gayce to slip. Harvey then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Gayce slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Nice body punch from Harvey.
Nice uppercut lands for Harvey. That snapped Gayce's head back.
Gayce has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Gayce throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Harvey scores with a one two! Gayce had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Harvey connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Gayce closes the distance but Harvey moves to the side
and Harvey counters with a one-two to the body.

James Harvey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Harvey circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Gayce to the canvas! Gayce doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Harvey keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Vazquez is trying to drag Mitchell to the mat but Mitchell just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Horrible takedown by Mitchell or perhaps it was just good defense by Vazquez which made him look bad.

Vazquez got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mitchell has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Vazquez has managed to get both his arms back between Mitchell 's legs - danger averted.

Mitchell is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Vazquez has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Vazquez creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Mitchell sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Vazquez in side control lands a decent elbow.
The referee asks Vazquez politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Vazquez prefers to stall for the moment though.
Mitchell is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Vazquez has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Vazquez is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Mitchell has escaped the position, nice work there.
Vazquez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mitchell keeps working.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Mitchell manages to work his way to half guard, despite Vazquez's best efforts.
Willison Mitchell has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Mitchell is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Vazquez pulls his head out easily.
Vazquez uses his free foot to push down on Mitchell 's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Mitchell .
Mitchell is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Hector Vazquez comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Vazquez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Parish slaps away a takedown attempt from Davis, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Nice sprawl there from Parish as Davis shoots in.
Davis walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

It looks like Marcus Davis has been cut.
Parish lands with a shot to the body.
Davis falls off balance throwing a combination
and Parish counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Parish looks to land a combination. Davis sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Davis is rocked!
Parish misses with a straight left.
Parish ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Davis closes the distance but Parish moves to the side
and Parish makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Parish scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

and Parish counters with a nice right hand that sends Davis toppling to the canvas! Davis scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Parish finish him?!
Oh Davis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Davis is breathing heavily.
Parish cracks Davis with a left hook right on the temple and Davis goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Parish lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Davis is OK!
