The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slobovic closes this distance looking for a takedown but Van Strijder circles away. Slobovic shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Slobovic shoots in for a double leg but Van Strijder sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Igor Slobovic. That's going to take a lot out of him. Van Strijder ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Slobovic moves away. Slobovic fails with a takedown attempt. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thurston tries for a takedown but Knocks sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Dylan Thurston seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Thurston is looking to clinch but Knocks is avoiding it.
That kick from Knocks tenderised Thurston's leg. Thurston is trying to keep his angry face on. Thurston misses with a takedown and Knocks counters with an inside leg kick. Thurston changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Knocks tries to avoid it but Thurston manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Knocks to the ground. Knocks escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Earnest Knocks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dylan Thurston. Knocks tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Thurston throws a right hand that Knocks ducks under and follows up with a left that Knocks also avoids with ease. Knocks connects with a leg kick. Thurston looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Thurston looks gassed! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Knocks lands a big head kick that sends Thurston tumbling to the mat! Knocks takes a step backwards and waves Thurston back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Dylan Thurston has been cut. Knocks seems to be stalking Thurston here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Thurston drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adebisi scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dag doesn't seem bothered though. Adebisi lands a lovely overhand right. Dag tries for a takedown but Adebisi circles away easily and Adebisi scores with a counter punch that sends Dag to the canvas! Adebisi smells blood - he's punishing Dag with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Dag has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fyodor swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Fyodor keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Rivera moves out of range of the strikes. Fyodor avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Rivera enables Fyodor to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rivera manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Fyodor has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Fyodor is sitting in close to Rivera's body. Rivera has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Fyodor is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Fyodor is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Rivera.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hoshi takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Niemen listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Hoshi looks to throw the jab but Niemen is out of range. Niemen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Hoshi throws a head kick that misses. Niemen throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Hoshi misses with a jab, cross combination.

They are putting on a show! Niemen scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Hoshi takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hoshi's face. Hoshi staggers backwards, shaken. Hoshi gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Niemen. Niemen scores with the left hand. Hoshi knows he should have avoided that one. Oh, that's a big right hand from Niemen and Hoshi goes tumbling to the canvas! Niemen follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
Hoshi is rocked! Niemen wants to stand but Hoshi has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Oh Hoshi is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Hoshi seems to have got his legs back now. Hoshi wants to control but Niemen is keeping busy and won't allow it. It looks like Niemen is going to stand back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hoshi is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Niemen pulls his head out easily. Niemen tries to stand but can't do so whilst Hoshi controls his leg. Niemen is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Hoshi is trying to stand up here but Niemen is controlling him well. Niemen wants to stand up but Hoshi manages to regain full guard. Niemen wants to get up but he can't break Hoshi's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Hoshi looking for a sweep. Not yet Hoshi, not yet. Niemen gets to his feet - Hoshi follows without any prompting. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Hoshi. Hoshi tries to work over Niemen's front leg with a kick but Niemen checks it. Hoshi takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Niemen is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Hoshi had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Niemen connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hoshi takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Hoshi misses with a double jab
and Niemen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Niemen lands a nice shot that snaps Hoshi's head back.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Niemen tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Let's hope that Niemen has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Niemen tries to control but Hoshi wriggling away. Niemen is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! A shot to the body from Hoshi misses and Niemen counters with a series of strikes. Hoshi will be more careful next time no doubt. Hoshi blocks a jab.

Niemen lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A leg kick checked by Hoshi. Hoshi has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Hoshi looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Niemen fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Niemen feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hoshis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Niemen keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Ryu Hoshi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hoshi throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Niemen counters with a one-two to the body.
Jeez, Ryu Hoshi's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Niemen stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Niemen throws a one two combo.

Niemen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hoshi sees it coming and avoids it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Czesio Niemen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Ryu Hoshi's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kalashnikov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kalashnikov off to one side. Jones closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kalashnikov did well to prevent Jones getting side control. Kalashnikov keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Kalashnikov looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kalashnikov gets back to full guard.

Kalashnikov goes for an armbar but Jones turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Jones. Jones trying to control but Kalashnikov is working from the bottom. Kalashnikov has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Jones should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Kalashnikov has tightened it up now! Jones should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Brown really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Miller throws a nice looking combination but Brown bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A punch combination from Miller misses. Miller drops Brown with a left and a right! Oh, Brown is hurt - Miller dives into side control looking to finish!
Brown is rocked! Brown sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Oh Brown is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Brown wants to get back to full guard. Brown looking for submissions off his back. Miller is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Brown doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Miller. Vymiatajec sends Uzi crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Vymiatajec is motioning to the referee to let Uzi up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! That's three minutes gone in the round. Boy tries to free his leg and advance position but Kukuev is retaining full guard. Boy trying to control the position from guard on top but Kukuev is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kukuev is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Boy is aware though and is defending well. Boy throws and elbow that misses. Kukuev uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Boy's guard. Nice move by Kukuev! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kukuev stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Boy swivels though and keeps the full guard. Boy is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kukuev is aware though and is defending well. Boy keeping moving, preventing Kukuev from controlling successfully. Kukuev got a little sloppy there for a moment and Boy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kukuev has managed to get both his arms back between Boy's legs - danger averted. Boy isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Kukuev stacks Boy on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Kukuev!

He's trying to wriggle out but Kukuev has cracked it and Boy is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Kukuev!
