The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Estrin tries to clinch up. Estrin drives through with a takedown into Punch's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Estrin has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Estrin throws and elbow that misses. Punch uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Estrin's guard. Nice move by Punch! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Punch keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Estrin's head. Punch with a flurry of punches that miss. Estrin keeping moving, preventing Punch from controlling successfully. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Punch accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Punch takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Estrin avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Punch. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Punch is looking to take a break and control but Estrin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Punch is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Punch has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Punch controlling from mount. Estrin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Punch on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Punch throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Punch is in the full mount, landing strikes. Punch lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
It looks like Igor Estrin has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Punch unloads with some shots from mount but Estrin bucks and avoids them well.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koc is looking to clinch. Lips changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Koc tries to avoid it but Lips manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Koc to the ground. Koc escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Thunder Lips seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Koc stuffs the takedown attempt from Lips. Lips gets slowly back to his feet. Jackson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Out - the referee stops the clock and Jackson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Out. Jackson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Jackson is breathing heavily. Out uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jackson.
