Keyser Soze had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Tarver!
Soze cracks Tarver with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Tarver looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Soze finish him?
It looks like Dre Tarver has been cut. Soze moves into the clinch. Tarver is trapped in a tight thai clinch here. Soze pulls him left and then right before unleashing a vicious knee to the head. Oh damn - Tarver is out cold! That's some serious business! What a knockout!

You can see the frustration on Wickson's face as Taylor controls the position. Taylor in side control, throwing shots but Wickson defends.

Wickson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Taylor blocks the body kick.

Four Loko is winning the standup battle so far. Loko rushes Quick with punches - Quick moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Quick goes down! Loko follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

Chuck is looking to break free of the clinch but Shotgun has double underhooks. Shotgun scores with an uppercut up the middle. Shotgun lands a hook to the side of the head. Chuck is trying to break the clinch but Shotgun has him pressed against the cage. Shotgun misses with an elbow over the top. Shotgun with an attempt at a knee that misses.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gler tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bird sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gler somewhat. Nice sprawl there from Bird as Gler shoots in. A lazy left from Bird finds it's target. Bird has closed the distance and engaged Gler in a clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Gler has Bird pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bird manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Forest Bird has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stran Gler. Bird is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Gler can't fight it off and eventually Bird manages to take the fight to the floor. Gler looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Gler wants to stand up but Bird is controlling him. Gler not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Muakbar in particular looking to stall.

Muakbar uses his free foot to push down on Francis's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Francis. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Street tries a knee to the head but Like A Bomb blocks it.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Street. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. A frustrated look appears on Like A Bomb's face as he tries to break the clinch. Calm Like A Bomb has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Street is trying to trip Like A Bomb. He has hold of a leg but Like A Bomb is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Street persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Like A Bomb can't keep his opponent in guard - Street advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Street is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Like A Bomb keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Michael Street is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Street moves into full mount! Like A Bomb won't be happy about that! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Like A Bomb avoids a series of strikes thrown by Street.
