The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Prayut misses with a low kick as Love jumps back. Love sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Prayut throws a head kick that Love semi-blocks.

Nicely done. Khumpai Prayut has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dude Love.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Prayut fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Love. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Love chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Prayut can pounce on him.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanders avoids a punch combination nicely.
Steiner throws a right and a left that Sanders avoids nicely. Steiner tries to clinch but Sanders moves away and Sanders decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Steiner's guard. Sanders trying to control but Steiner is working from the bottom. Sanders is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Sanders looking to sit in guard and control but Steiner gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Sanders pulls Steiner in close to his closed guard and prevents Steiner from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steiner preventing the sweep. Steiner tries to stand but Sanders is controlling from the bottom. Sanders controlling Steiner's posture.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Michael Sanders just wasn't active enough. Steiner lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Steiner throws a right and a left that both miss. Nice defenses there by Sanders.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Steiner throws a combination that misses and Sanders counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Steiner is looking to get back to full guard here but Sanders has managed to pass to side control instead. Sanders throws an elbow but Steiner slips to the side and avoids it well. Sanders lands some shots froms side control. Sanders looks up at the clock and then as Steiner takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Sanders smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Steiner's face as Sanders controls the position. Sanders has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Sanders's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sanders throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Steiner works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Steiner blocking the ground and pound attempt from Sanders. Sanders throwing shots but Steiner is blocking nicely. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Steiner can do anything to dispel that myth. Well, if Sanders is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Steiner fights it but they end up in guard. Steiner utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Steiner looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Sanders looking to control the position here, rather than advance. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Steiner is on top in guard.

Steiner wants to stand and escape but instead Sanders has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Steiner not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Sanders is looking to work some ground and pound but Steiner has wrist control. Sanders stopping the sweep attempt from Steiner. Steiner lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sanders! Sanders regains half guard. Steiner wants to stand but Sanders has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Steiner keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Sanders scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Sanders not landing any meaningful shots this time. Sanders not doing much here.

Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Steiner's head. Sanders wants to control but Steiner is keeping him busy. Michael Sanders overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Steiner wants to improve his position but Sanders is controlling well.

and Sanders counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Steiner! Sanders landing punches.

Sanders lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Sanders lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Sanders lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Steiner hang on? Sanders prevents Steiner from getting the reversal. Sanders misses with a head shot. Max Steiner has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sanders scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Steiner?
And that's the end of the fight! Michael Sanders showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sanders, winning every round. Will the judges agree? It looks like Dejan Pesovic has been cut. Brad Fickett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pesovic misses with an uppercut. Fickett saw that one coming. Pesovic keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Fickett. Fickett misses with a straight left. A big left from Pesovic misses. Fickett tries to clinch there but Pesovic circles away.

and Fickett counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Pesovic is lucky that one didn't land flush. Pesovic misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Fickett wants to pass the guard but Pesovic is keeping the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pesovic keeping moving, preventing Fickett from controlling successfully. Fickett is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Fickett lands a couple of digs.

Fickett trying to control the position from guard on top but Pesovic is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fickett drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fickett jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Fickett is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Pesovic throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Fickett's body to avoid the submission. Fickett has instead reached around Pesovic's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Fickett arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Funke ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Funke shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Vito as he avoids it easily. Funke on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Funke swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Vito counters with a stiff right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Vito connects with a body shot that sends Funke's belly button to the back. Vito uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Funke displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Vito throws out the jab. Vito gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Funke counters with a takedown into side control. Funke is working Vito over with some ground and pound from side control. Funke landing a few strikes. Funke throwing strikes but Vito manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sloppy strikes there by Vito. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Funke wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Vito thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Vito has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Funke is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Vito yanks on the arm and Funke is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Vito.

James Yap's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Mcpeeny dips a shoulder and cracks Yap with a mighty uppercut! Yap falls back against the cage and Mcpeeny unloads with a barrage of strikes! Yap is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Mcpeeny screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vaan defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Walker. Vaan lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
It looks like Jon E Walker has been cut. Vaan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Vaan wants it to stay on the feet. Walker shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Walker was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Walker scoring with strikes but Vaan is staying in there.
It looks like Gabranth Vaan has been cut. Vaan blocking the ground and pound. Vaan taking shots to the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Walker sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Walker thowing shots but they're missing. Walker controlling the pace for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walker swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Vaan is now in Walker's guard. A big mistake from Walker there, giving up the dominant position! Walker will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Vaan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Walker has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Vaan has managed to get both his arms back between Walker's legs - danger averted. Walker is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Walker is trying to keep Vaan in close.
Vaan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Walker looking for a guillotine here but Vaan defends easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jon E Walker. Walker darts in and clinches Vaan up against the cage. Walker is trying to drag Vaan to the mat but Vaan just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jon E Walker. That's going to take a lot out of him. Walker breaks the clinch.
Walker takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Nice jab there from Vaan. Vaan attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jon E Walker will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Walker doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Jon E Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Walker ducks right into an uppercut from Vaan. Walker drops his hands momentarily and Vaan takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Vaan cracks Walker with a hook to the temple - Walker is on wobbly legs here! Vaan swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Walker falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Vaan wins by TKO!

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. McGibbs throws a leg kick but Jones sees it coming and moves out of range. Jones misses with an uppercut. McGibbs saw that one coming. McGibbs thows a leg kick but Jones checks it and Jones connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

McGibbs tries to clinch up but Jones pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples McGibbs to the mat! McGibbs covers up and Jones unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
