The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Riordan. Riordan in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. The Raging Demon tries to escape but Riordan is in control. The Raging Demon regains half guard, as Riordan was trying to land strikes. The Raging Demon makes his way to full guard. A much better position for The Raging Demon. The Raging Demon keeping full guard, as Riordan tries to pass. Riordan trying to control but The Raging Demon is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Riordan throws a strike but The Raging Demon rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The Raging Demon seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Riordan does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Riordan wants to improve his position but The Raging Demon is controlling well.

Riordan is staying active underneath The Raging Demon, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kimo Leonardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Volk Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leonardo comes into the arena with Amazing by Kanye West blaring out of the sound system. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Volk Khan was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Khan's jab looks to have found its range, popping Leonardo under the eye. Leonardo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Khan misses with a straight right. Leonardo scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Leonardo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Khan sees it coming and avoids it easily. Khan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Leonardo. That did some damage! Khan throws a series of punches but Leonardo moves out of range. Leonardo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Khan counters with a straight right hand. Khan throws a head kick that misses. Khan pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Leonardo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Khan sees it coming and avoids it easily. Good standup being displayed there by Leonardo as he connects with a hook.
