1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Rollins! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! SmithJr fails with the takedown letting Rollins counter with a right hand. SmithJr throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Rollins. Rollins fails to land with a series of punches.
SmithJr doesn't succeed with the takedown and Rollins counters with a left and a right that stings SmithJr. Rollins throws a perfectly timed hook that sends SmithJr crashing down! SmithJr tries to stagger back to his feet but Rollins just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused SmithJr asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike Rollins!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Akecheta fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Blimm looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Akecheta! Blimm throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Blimm punishing his opponent with strikes. Blimm misses with a head shot. Akecheta suckers Blimm into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Akecheta is now in Blimm's guard!
Blimm is pulling down on Akecheta's head. It's preventing any offense from Akecheta, at least for the moment. Blimm has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Blimm is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Blimm is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Akecheta tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Blimm just stands there and leans against the cage. Akecheta prevents the takedown attempt.
Blimm is trying to break the clinch but Akecheta has him pressed against the cage. Akecheta fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wakanda Akecheta. That's going to take a lot out of him. Akecheta looking to throw knees to the head but Blimm is blocking nicely.

Akecheta is fighting off a takedown attempt but Blimm is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Akecheta to the mat. Akecheta regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Akecheta keeping full guard, as Blimm tries to pass. Akecheta not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

so Blimm counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Blimm in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Blimm won't allow Akecheta to sweep him here. Blimm loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Akecheta can't keep his opponent in guard - Blimm advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Akecheta flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Akecheta avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Blimm. Blimm is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Akecheta! Blimm is landing with some decent strikes but Akecheta is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
 Akecheta is rocked! Blimm drops a big elbow. That's hurt Akecheta! More shots from Blimm and the ref steps in! The fight is over!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Robinson keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Evans working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Robinson is looking to get back to is feet but Evans passes into side control.
Robinson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Evans misses with an attempted head punch from side control. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Robinson can do anything to dispel that myth. Evans is working Robinson over with some ground and pound from side control. Evans working the head and body with strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Evans has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Henry Robinson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Robinson misses with a combination
and Evans counters by clinching up.
Evans has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Robinson regains guard immediately.

Evans is pushing down on Robinson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Robinson is fighting to maintain full guard but Evans has managed to sneak the leg through. Evans sitting and controlling from the half guard.

Evans seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Robinson taking some punishment here, with Evans in his half guard. Robinson looks gassed! Evans working over Robinson with some ground and pound. Robinson looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Evans winds up and cracks Robinson with a swinging punch to the side of the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Evans performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Evans looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Evans is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Evans will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Evans passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Robinson! Evans content just to control the position here. BOOM! Evans connects with a massive shot to the dome!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Evans controlling the pace for now. Evans landing strikes from the mount and Robinson is in trouble!
 It looks like Henry Robinson has been cut.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Evans lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Evans unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Robinson wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Evans celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

Tyson feints and as Punchy raises his hands in defense, Tyson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Tyson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Tyson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Punchy keeping full guard, as Tyson tries to pass.
Tyson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tyson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Punchy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tyson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Tyson content to stall in guard here. Punchy looks gassed! Punchy can't keep his opponent in guard - Tyson advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Tyson stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Punchy thows a leg kick but Tyson checks it
and Tyson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Punchy's guard now. Tyson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Punchy's guard. Tyson controlling the action here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Punchy is in trouble now - Tyson has advanced to mount! And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Jerry Tyson dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
