Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marduk Mendor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ari Velazquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mendor might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bring it on. Velazquez is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Since the Flood-. Ari Velazquez will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Velazquez throws a shot from downtown. Mendor moves away and avoids it.
Velazquez fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mendor looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Velazquez blocks a head kick by Mendor.
Ari Velazquez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Velazquez lands the left hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Velazquez fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mendor looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Kovacic shoots in for a takedown but Morrow shows good takedown defense.
Morrow cracks Kovacic with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
