4 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Max Tout! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Joseph Jones and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McHatt throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. McHatt shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Tout counters with a straight punch to the midsection. McHatt with a lazy takedown attempt and Tout counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Tout dips to his left and cracks McHatt with an uppercut!
That's one minute gone in the round. McHatt shoots and misses and McHatt takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cat McHatt. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tout fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McHatt manages to avoid it. McHatt misses with a takedown attempt and Tout counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. McHatt tries for a takedown but Tout circles away easily enabling Tout to counter with a crisp jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McHatt looks to throw the jab but Tout is out of range. No joy there for McHatt, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That's three minutes gone in the round. McHatt fails in his attempt to clinch. McHatt with a poor takedown and Tout counters with a right hand to the body. Tout fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McHatt manages to avoid it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. McHatt scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Tout misses with a wild body shot. A jab from Tout misses. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Tout misses with a left hand and McHatt counters with a body kick that stops Tout in his tracks momentarily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Max Tout dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

McHatt feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McHatt stopping the sweep attempt from Tout. Tout controlling the position. Tout keeping full guard, as McHatt tries to pass. Tout looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. McHatt postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Tout is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of McHatt, into his guard. McHatt is trying to control the position but Tout postures up. Tout content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Tout tries to free his leg and advance position but McHatt is retaining full guard. McHatt working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Tout has passed into half guard!
Tout not landing any meaningful shots this time. McHatt is trying to control but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McHatt looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Tout pushes past his half guard into mount! McHatt takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. McHatt is desperately trying to improve his position but Tout has a good base and remains in mount. Tout lands a heavy elbow. Tout punishing his opponent with strikes. Tout raining down shots from the mount!
McHatt is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tout loads up with a big shot that hurts McHatt! He's pulled Tout in close but Tout has postured up and lands more strikes. Can McHatt survive? More strikes from Tout and McHatt is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!

And that's the end of the fight! Boxing Comte comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Comte has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
