The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Floot doesn't manage to clinch there - Mir circles away.
Mir takes a jab right on the kisser.
Floot stuns Mir with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Mir slips a jab from Floot. Mir ducks right into an uppercut from Floot. Floot lands a glancing blow to the side of Mir's head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Floot shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Floot showed some decent athleticism there. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Floot throwing shots but Mir is blocking nicely. Mir manages to get to full guard.

Floot working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Mir's head. Mir had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Floot defends it easily. Floot avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sims Jr gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Stevens keeps control of Sims Jr as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Sims Jr is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Stevens is keeping busy. Stevens lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Sims Jr backwards. Sims Jr using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Stevens has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Stevens keeps control of Sims Jr as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. A frustrated look appears on Sims Jr's face as he tries to break the clinch. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Sims Jr. Stevens pulls Sims Jr into guard.
Stevens pulls Sims Jr in close to prevent any damage. Stevens wants to sweep but no luck. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tysse fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Kalevi is out of range. Kalevi stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kalevi wants it to stay on the feet. Kalevi tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tysse sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kalevi somewhat. Tysse misses with a takedown attempt - Kalevi sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Tysse misses with a wild combination.
Tysse shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Kalevi counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Pullo Kalevi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kim Tysse. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Tysse tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Kalevi has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

No luck for Kalevi with that takedown attempt. Kalevi checks a leg kick. Kalevi shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tysse as he avoids it easily. Kalevi slips a jab and a cross from Tysse.
Tysse tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Kim Tysse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tysse fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kalevi checks it well.

Kalevi tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Kalevi seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Tysse for as long as he can get away with. Pullo Kalevi overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schlosser will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

A momentary lapse in concentration sends Schlosser crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Schlosser is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hardison misses with a takedown and Nelson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hardison's guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Hardison keeping full guard, as Nelson tries to pass. Hardison knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nelson on the ground. Hardison tries to land a sweep but no joy. Nelson trying to control but Hardison is working from the bottom. Nelson wants to pass the guard but Hardison is keeping the position. Nelson stopping the sweep attempt from Hardison. Nelson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

That was a close round but I would say that Alec Hardison will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Tyson cracks Paska with a hook to the temple - Paska is on wobbly legs here! Tyson swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Paska falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Tyson wins by TKO!

Johnson tries to lock up and control but Masters gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Masters attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Johnson moves out of range as Masters strikes. Masters shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Johnson's guard. Masters's corner is telling him to maintain position. Chris Masters overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Johnson looking for subs off his back but Masters has passed one foot through into half guard.

We're going to have a standup here because Chris Masters wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Masters misses with a left hand and Johnson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Masters won't be happy with that. Masters is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Johnson tries to pass to full mount but Masters defends it. Johnson is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Masters pulls down on the head and he's put Johnson to sleep! This one is all over!
