The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Guy enables Kasai to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Guy manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Kasai drops back looking for a leg! Guy is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Guy manages to kick Kasai off! Kasai jumps back into Guy's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kasai decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kasai.

Kasai closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kasai lands in his opponent's guard.
Guy lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kasai!

Guy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kasai on the ground.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Guy cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Nariaki Kasai's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Nariaki Kasai's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

and Gracie connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Borgstein is trying to maintain the position but Gracie is very close to passing his half guard.

Nate Borgstein is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Gracie swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gracie connects with a leg kick. Borgstein looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Gracie looks for a takedown but Borgstein sprawls well.
Nice uppercut lands for Borgstein. That snapped Gracie's head back.

Hill uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Brown.

Brown has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Hill.
