The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stenner throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bailey Jr tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Stenner is in Bailey Jr's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Stenner trying to control the position from guard on top but Bailey Jr is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bailey Jr is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Stenner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bailey Jr swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bailey Jr pulls Stenner in close to his closed guard and prevents Stenner from doing any damage or advancing position.

Halo paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
