Woitek looks to land a combination. Bix sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bix lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Woitek has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Woitek and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Theban lands a right hook to the body.
Dre shoots in looking for a takedown. Theban tries to sprawl out of it but Dre keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Theban manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Theban throws a body kick that misses.
Theban misses with a combination
letting Dre counter with a right hand.
Dre tries to clinch up.
An inside leg kick lands from Theban.
Theban circles away from the clinch attempt
and Theban counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Theban misses with a wild body shot.
Dre looks to throw the jab but Theban is out of range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Theban jabs Dre right on the nose. Dre blinks but takes it well.
Alcaeus Theban is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Theban scores with a hook.
Dre wants to clinch.
Dre fails in his attempt to clinch.
Dre will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Theban scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
The crowd cheers as Theban lands an impressive looking overhand right. Dre doesn't seem phased though.
Dre tries to clinch but Theban moves away
and Theban makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Dre is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Theban throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dre.
Dre is looking to clinch but Theban is avoiding it.
Theban dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Theban feints and then cracks Dre's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Dre down.
Nice straight punches there by Theban. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Theban.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Theban moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Dre! Theban continues to tee off on Dre, landing with a left and a right! Theban connects with a right hand that leaves Dre sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Theban!
