1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lawson Sharp! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Ren Mimura and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sharp moves to clinch but Bostik breaks away and Bostik counters with a head kick. Sharp moves into the clinch. Bostik goes for a takedown attempt but Sharp pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Sharp wants to clinch but Bostik slips to the side and Bostik counters with a nice double leg into side control. Sharp won't be happy with that. Sharp is trying to escape and get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bostik wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sharp keeps working. Sharp pushes Bostik away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Bostik gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Sloppy strikes there by Bostik. Sharp is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Bostik staying calm.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sharp tries to escape but Bostik is in control. Sharp takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Oh, that's unlucky for Bostik but great work by Sharp. Bostik wants to control but Sharp postures up. Sharp decides to stand up, so the ref orders Bostik to his feet. Sharp has managed to clinch.
Lawson Sharp has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sharp misses with an elbow over the top. Bostik has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sharp is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Bostik's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Sharp darts in trying to clinch and Bostik counters with a nice double leg into side control. Sharp won't be happy with that. Sharp wants to get back to his feet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sharp wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
And that's the end of the fight! John Paul Bostik showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bostik, winning every round. Will the judges agree? With the fighters clinched against the cage, Kajiwara creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Kajiwara has Changmin pressed against the cage, preventing Changmin from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Kajiwara tries to score a power double leg takedown but Changmin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kajiwara somewhat. Kajiwara throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Changmin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Changmin lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

and Changmin counters with a series of strikes. Kajiwara will be more careful next time no doubt. Kajiwara walks into a stiff left hand from Changmin. Kajiwara tries to clinch but Changmin is having none of it. A shot to the liver by Changmin. Beautiful body shot. Kajiwara tries to close the distance and clinch up but Changmin swats him away and circles back towards the center. Changmin throws a one two combo.
Left hook, right uppercut from Changmin. Changmin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Kajiwara doesn't succeed with the takedown enabling Changmin to counter with a crisp jab. Kajiwara throws a sloppy head kick and Changmin moves out of range easily. Changmin is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kajiwara can do to turn this around?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Changmin looks to land a combination. Kajiwara sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Kajiwara walks into a stiff left hand from Changmin. Changmin feints a jab promting Kajiwara to slip. Changmin then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kajiwara slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Shim Changmin is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Changmin looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Changmin ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Changmin throws a right and a left that Kajiwara avoids nicely. Changmin stuffs the takedown. Changmin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kajiwara moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Changmin lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Changmin. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kajiwara walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Changmin checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Danga de danga de dang - Changmin scores with a four punch combination! Satoshi Kajiwara has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Changmin lands a jab-cross combination.
And that's the end of the fight! Shim Changmin showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Changmin, winning every round. Will the judges agree? Chocolate is refusing to be controlled, as Dado sits in half guard. Dado decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Chocolate lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Dado backs up against the cage.

Dado looks gassed! Dado throws a head kick that misses. Chocolate lands with a good body shot.

and Satake counters with a shoot takedown. Boyko fights it but they end up in guard. Satake is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Boyko knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Satake on the ground. Satake trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Satake working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Boyko working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Satake. Satake's corner is telling him to maintain position. Satake advances position into side control! Satake is looking to take a break and control but Boyko is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Satake has hold of Boyko's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Boyko tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Satake cranks the arm and Boyko screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Boyko, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Tumbling decides to pull guard. Gamer missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Gamer trying to move into half guard but instead Tumbling has managed to sweep! Tumbling is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Gamer is working an open guard so Tumbling takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gamer fails with the takedown and Tumbling holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gevin Gamer. That's going to take a lot out of him. A knee to the head by Tumbling.
Gevin Gamer's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. A nice glancing elbow lands by Tumbling. Tumbling's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Gamer could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Gamer tries for a takedown but Tumbling circles away easily and Tumbling counters with a huge head kick that drops Gamer! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!

Kent stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jong swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jong working a defensive guard here.
Jong looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Kent is defending well. Jong quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm!
