The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fogerty thows a body shot but no joy.
Matsumoto misses with a takedown
and Fogerty counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Matsumoto with a poor takedown
and Fogerty cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Fogerty lands a body shot.
Matsumoto tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fogerty paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Fogerty fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

A decent looking cross lands there for Fogerty.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Matsumoto lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Fogerty has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Fogerty and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Cazadores shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts San as he jumps to the side.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
San lands with a left to the head.
Cazadores blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Cazadores is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - San screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

The fighters are playing wrist control here with Kerns pressed against the cage. Shikoku frees himself up cracks Shikoku with an uppercut straight from the bowels of hell! Kerns crumples to the floor, out cold! Shikoku jumps onto the cage and takes in the roar of the crowd! That was nasty!

Position shoots in looking for a takedown. Pong tries to sprawl out of it but Position keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pong manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Position might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Pong kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ping Pong.
