The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kim keeps the fight on the outside. Silva displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kim. Kim shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Silva but Silva pushes him off and we're back to square one. Silva shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kim sprawls well. Kim wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Silva gets slowly back to his feet. Kim dodges the punch combination from Silva.
Silva tries to clinch up but Kim circles away and keeps his distance. Silva shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kim as he avoids it easily. Kim swats away the attempt to clinch by Silva. Silva gets cracked there but stands up to it.
It looks like Lusiana Silva has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kim cracks Silva on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Silva falls backwards against the cage. Kim follows up with more strikes that drop Silva to his knees. Kim keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Silva! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Junio tries to bum rush Borba with a series of wild strikes but Borba uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Junio misses with a wild combination.
Junio really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Junio drives through and clinches with Borba against the cage.
Borba goes for a takedown attempt but Junio pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Rogerio Junio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Borba drives through with a takedown into guard. Borba missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Junio has a closed guard, preventing Borba from standing up. Borba advances position into side control! Borba scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Junio to see if he's OK. Junio is looking to regain half guard here but Borba keeps moving and retains side control. Borba tries to advance to mount but can't. Junio is trying to get back to his feet.

Junio is trying to get back to half guard. Junio on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Junio tries to get out of the position. Borba knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Junio thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Borba is looking to control Junio's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Borba avoid being mounted? Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Borba looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Junio throws a strike but Borba avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Borba should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Junio distracts Borba with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Junio keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Borba's head. Junio missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Borba looking to control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Junio trying to control but Borba is working from the bottom. Junio is really struggling to control Borba but he's trying to hold on to the position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Borba is on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Borba preventing the sweep. Junio wants to stand up but Borba is controlling him. Junio tries to land a sweep but no joy. Borba won't allow Junio to get back to his feet. Borba stopping the sweep attempt from Junio.

Junio slips out almost immediately though and dives into Borba's guard. Junio looking to sit in guard and control but Borba gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Borba cracks Junio with a solid left hand. Junio scrambles and gets back to his feet.

That's six minutes gone in the round. Junio gets in close and instigates a clinch. Junio is trying to trip Borba. He has hold of a leg but Borba is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Junio persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Borba has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Junio trying to control the position from guard on top but Borba is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Borba lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Junio!
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Junio is trying to stand. Borba jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Junio is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Junio and Borba has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Junio explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Junio leaves Borba with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Junio misses with a wild combination.

Bacca lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
