The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers lands a really nice looking cross but Nero seems unphased.
Rogers lands with a good body shot.
Rogers throws a body punch but Nero moves out of range.
Nero avoids a punch combination nicely.
Rogers misses with a wild combination.

Nero drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Nero pushes down on Rogers's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nero decides to stand up.
Rogers throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Lishaq swings wildly with an uppercut but Killin uses good head movement to avoid it.

Lishaq is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Lishaq is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Killin to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Killin shrugs it off.

Well James has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Irokez looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Irokez can do anything to dispel that myth.
