And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hadley Jagger!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Columbo Gatti and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jagger fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Darius is out of range.
Jagger wants to land a leg kick but Darius is out of range.
Darius comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Jagger fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Darius checks it well.
Jagger misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Darius.
Jagger tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jagger shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Darius dips to his left and cracks Jagger with an uppercut!
Jagger closes the distance and clinches up with Darius, looking for a takedown. Jagger pushes Darius against the cage but Darius circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jagger takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Jagger scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Jagger misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A punch combination from Jagger misses.
Jagger takes a body punch but keeps moving.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Darius misses with an uppercut
and Jagger connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A low kick from Jagger misses
and Darius counters with a right hand to the body.
Darius stuns Jagger with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Darius looks to throw the jab but Jagger is out of range.
Darius throws a hook but Jagger blocks it.
Jagger throws a series of punches but Darius avoids them all with ease.
Jagger looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Darius is fending him off so far but Jagger persists. Nope, Darius circles away and we're back to standing.
Braxton Darius has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hadley Jagger.
Darius swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jagger looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Darius fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jagger looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Jagger misses with a hook
and Darius counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Darius slips a jab and a cross from Jagger.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Darius motions for Jagger to come forward. Darius throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Jagger takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Jagger on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Darius throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jagger uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Darius.
Jagger jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Darius misses with a series of wild punches.
Jagger misses with a few strikes there.
Sloppy strikes from Darius. Those never looked like landing.
Darius connects with a high kick.

Jagger is rocked!
Jagger walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Jagger limp body while Darius jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Braxton Darius!
