The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Shuai has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Shuai and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Omi Shuai.

Hong changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Moro tries to avoid it but Hong manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Moro to the ground. Moro escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Moro has managed to clinch.
Moro throws a knee to the head but misses.
Hong fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Moro tries to pull guard but Hong won't allow it.
Moro jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hong walks away with a smile on his face. Moro gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Hong closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Moro did well to prevent Hong getting side control.

Hong is looking for a kimura but Moro is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hong to get the leverage.

Hong has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Moro's face.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Hong drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee asks Hong politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Hong prefers to stall for the moment though.
Check out the look on Hong's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Moro tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Hong's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Hong is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Moro knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Moro for a finish.
