Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Willy Coffey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Crawford! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.

Crawford tries to keep at a distance but Coffey has taken the fight into the clinch. Crawford drops down looking for an ankle pick but Coffey pulls his leg out and moves away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Crawford is defended easily by Coffey. Nice sprawl there from Coffey as Crawford shoots in. Willy Coffey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Crawford. Crawford doesn't manage to clinch there - Coffey circles away.
Coffey dodges the punch combination from Crawford.
Crawford will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Crawford tries for a takedown but Coffey sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Crawford forces Coffey back against the cage and clinches. Coffey lands with a short head shot on the inside. Crawford is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Crawford has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Coffey is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Crawford wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Coffey breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Coffey is trying hard to land a takedown here. Crawford sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Coffey shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Crawford's guard. Coffey passes Crawford's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Crawford blocking the ground and pound attempt from Coffey.
Coffey is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Coffey misses with a head shot. Crawford uses the momentum to regain guard. Coffey passes Crawford's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Crawford really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Coffey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Coffey missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Crawford avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Coffey. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Coffey escapes and gets back to his feet. Crawford looks gassed!
Coffey closes the distance and clinches. A nice left hand lands by Coffey.
Coffey manages to break the clinch.
Coffey tries to clinch up.
Coffey moves into the clinch successfully.
Coffey is working for takedown but Crawford is calmly controlling the position for now.
Coffey breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Coffey feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Coffey working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Crawford's head.
Crawford looking for a guillotine here but Coffey defends easily.

Coffey working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Crawford can do anything to dispel that myth. Coffey throwing strikes from guard but Crawford blocks nicely. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Coffey landing with the ground and pound.
Coffey decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Crawford, up you get! Crawford shoots in for a takedown but Coffey shows good takedown defense. Coffey listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

Coffey instigates a clinch. Coffey gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Crawford.

Coffey working some nice short punches in the clinch. Crawford is trying to break the clinch but Coffey has him pressed against the cage. Coffey scores with a shot to the side of Crawford's head. Coffey manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Coffey jumps into guard, dragging Crawford to the mat.
This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Crawford has gone for a leg lock! Coffey slips out almost immediately though and dives into Crawford's guard. Coffey is looking to work some ground and pound but Crawford has wrist control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Willy Coffey dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Coffey shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Crawford sprawls well. Crawford wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Coffey gets slowly back to his feet.
Coffey gets in close and instigates a clinch. Coffey trying to stall but Crawford improves his position.
Coffey displaying some good clinch control by pressing Crawford up against the cage. Coffey lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Crawford looking for a takedown. A short left from Coffey.
Coffey pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Crawford shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Coffey doesn't manage to clinch there - Crawford circles away.
Coffey fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Crawford looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Willy Coffey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Crawford. Crawford stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Coffey. Crawford is breathing heavily.

Crawford must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Crawford is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Coffey is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Coffey has escaped and now he's on top!
Coffey thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Crawford working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Coffey. Crawford utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Coffey works over Crawford with some ground and pound from guard. Coffey passes Crawford's left leg - he's now in half guard. Crawford wants to get back to his feet.
Coffey winds up and cracks Crawford with a swinging punch to the side of the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Coffey not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Coffey stands up from half guard. Coffey shoots in but no luck this time. Crawford shoots in for a double leg but Coffey sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

The fight moves into the clinch position. Coffey tries to score a body lock takedown but Crawford shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Coffey stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Coffey successfully pulls guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Coffey is on top in guard.
Crawford can't keep his opponent in guard - Coffey advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Coffey seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Crawford does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Coffey not landing any meaningful shots this time. Crawford is not content to let Coffey control the position. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Coffey connects with a nice short shot to Crawford's temple.

and Choo counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bower! The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Bower wants to hold on but Choo pushes him away. Choo content just to control the position here. Bower reaches up and holds on to Choo to control the position. Choo is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Bower can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Choo sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Choo trying to control but he's not successful this time.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Choo pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Choo controlling from mount. Bower working to try and regain half guard.

Bower is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Choo sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bower's guard. Choo slows the pace down in half guard. Choo is looking to take a break and control but Bower is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Choo is looking for a kimura but Bower is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Choo to get the leverage. Still in half guard, Choo seems content to control. Bower is not content to let Choo control the position. Choo looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Choo is keen to just control but Bower is a slippery customer. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daniel Choo dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Choo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bower's guard. Choo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Bower is trying to keep Choo in close.
Choo trying to control the position from guard on top but Bower is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bower wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Choo wants to control from the top but Bower keeps moving.

Choo drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Bower regains half guard there - taking advantage of Choo's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Choo knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Bower is working hard here to advance position.

Choo darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Choo tries to pass the half guard into mount. Bower knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Choo is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Bower has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Choo lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Choo swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Bower is now in Choo's guard. A big mistake from Choo there, giving up the dominant position! Bower trying to control but Choo is working from the bottom. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bower passes Choo's left leg - he's now in half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Daniel Choo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Choo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Poor timing from Cosixen. Harrison cracks the inside of Cosixen's front leg. Cosixen connects with a single shot there. Cosixen jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Cosixen lands a head shot. Harrison throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Cosixen avoids the head kick by Harrison.
A low kick from Harrison misses and Cosixen counters with a nice body shot. Cosixen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Cosixen takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Cosixen misses the shot to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Harrison avoids the body shot from Cosixen.
Harrison tries to work over Cosixen's front leg with a kick but Cosixen checks it. Cosixen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Harrison moves away. Cosixen lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Sergei Cosixen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Harrison shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Cosixen moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Scott Harrison seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Harrison tries a low kick but Cosixen avoids it. Harrison seems to have recovered his senses. Harrison misses with a body shot.
Cosixen lands with a shot to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Harrison throws the kick towards the body but Cosixen avoids it. Harrison throws a head kick but Cosixen moves out of range.
Harrison throws a leg kick but Cosixen sees it coming and moves out of range. Harrison fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Cosixen. Cosixen tests Harrison's chin there with a solid looking shot. The fighters circle momentarily. Cosixen darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Harrison throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Cosixen uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Harrison has time to react. Cosixen smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Harrison tries to land a leg kick but Cosixen saw it coming and moves away.
Harrison pivots, looking for a leg kick but Cosixen is out of range and Harrison settles back down. Harrison throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Cosixen circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cosixen scores with a hook to the body. Harrison takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Cosixen misses with a two punch combination.
Harrison throws a low kick but Cosixen moves out of range easily. A shot to the liver by Cosixen. Beautiful body shot. Harrison takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Cosixen drops Harrison with a beautiful combination! Harrison stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Cosixen is looking for the KO! Cosixen drops Harrison with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Harrison! Cosixen dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sergei Cosixen!

Taungava pushes Trent against the cage but Trent circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Trent looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Taungava fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Trent, pushing him back against the cage. Taungava wants a takedown.
Taungava has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Trent is trying to keep an underhook but Taungava manages to get the takedown into half guard. Trent regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Taungava. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Trent can do anything to dispel that myth. Taungava passes Trent's left leg - he's now in half guard. Taungava scoring with strikes to the body and head. Trent keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Taungava working Trent over with strikes. Taungava is nestled in close to Trent, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. This has been an exciting period of action! Taungava wants to lay and pray for a moment but Trent keeps working. Trent has hold of Taungava's hands but Taungava slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Taungava takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Taungava drops an elbow to the side of Trent's head.

Taungava winds up and cracks Trent with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Trent has hold of Taungava's hands but Taungava slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Taungava is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Can Taungava finish him? The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Taungava lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Trent quite badly. Trent pulls Taungava in close trying to recover. Taungava postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Trent on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Trent doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Hopkins defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Zanico. Hopkins takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Zanico trying to control but he's not successful this time. Zanico punching from mount but Hopkins doing a good job of avoiding damage. Zanico throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Zanico goes for an armbar but Hopkins turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Hopkins.

Hopkins shoots in looking for a takedown but Zanico manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hopkins's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Zanico has his takedown stuffed and Hopkins counters with a leg kick. Hopkins walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Zanico checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Zanico slips a jab and a cross from Hopkins.

Zanico looking to secure an arm triangle but Hopkins defends it well. Hopkins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zanico. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hopkins regains half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Zanico has hold of Hopkins's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Hopkins manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Rafael Zanico overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hopkins looking to sit in guard and control but Zanico gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Zanico drops back looking for a leg! Hopkins is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hopkins manages to kick Zanico off! Zanico jumps back into Hopkins's guard. Zanico forces his way into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rafael Zanico dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Zanico shoots for a double leg takedown but Hopkins sprawls well. He's pushed Zanico's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A jab from Hopkins does it's job there. Hopkins wants to land a leg kick but Zanico is out of range. Hopkins connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Zanico momentarily.
Zanico will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Hopkins throws a leg kick that is checked
and Zanico counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Zanico. Both fighters are breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Zanico stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hopkins swivels though and keeps the full guard.

He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Zanico looking to pass the guard.
Zanico drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hopkins manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Zanico has Hopkins in his guard.

Zanico closes the distance and clinches up with Hopkins, looking for a takedown. Zanico pushes Hopkins against the cage but Hopkins circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Hopkins misses with the combination.

Zanico swats away the attempt to clinch by Hopkins. Hopkins scores with a punch to the head. Nice defenses there by Zanico. Hopkins swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Zanico. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hopkins throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Zanico.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Silas Hopkins. I think Zanico has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Choake takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Choake is defended easily by Thousand. Thousand throws a head kick but Choake moves out of range.
Choake tries for a takedown but Thousand sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Brian Thousand has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jermaine Choake. Thousand circles away from the clinch attempt.

He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Choake chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Thousand can pounce on him.
Thousand throws a hook but Choake avoids it easily. Choake takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Thousand lands a high kick!
An inside leg kick lands from Thousand. Choake takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Thousand fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Choake on the side of the head. Thousand tries a head kick but it misses.
Brian Thousand is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Thousand throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Choake is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!

Steel finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Steel throws a leg kick that is checked and Stone finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Stone fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Steel is out of range. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Stone checks a leg kick. Stone lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Stone tries a head kick but it misses.
Stone checks the leg kick nicely there.
Stone misses with a low kick. Stone tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Steel misses with a low kick as Stone jumps back. Stone throws a low kick but Steel moves out of range easily. Stone chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Steel connects with a leg kick. Stone looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Steel lands the left hand. Steel throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Stone tries to land a leg kick but Steel saw it coming and moves away.
Stone takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Stone misses with a head kick.
Steel scores with a jab to the jaw. Stone checks a leg kick. A leg kick checked by Steel. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Steel, right into the meat.
Stone connects with a high kick.

Steel throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Steel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stone moves away. Steel throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Stone counters with a head kick. Stone turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Steel throws a lazy right hand but Stone sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Steel connects with a crisp jab. Steel ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Stone thows a leg kick but Steel checks it and Steel counters with a lovely shot to the body. Stone looks gassed! Steel will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Stone throws a low kick, looking for Steel's leg but Steel calmly moves out of range. Stone throws a low kick but Steel avoids it.

Stone misses with a low kick. Stone blocks a low kick nicely. Steel blocks a head kick by Stone.
Steel connects with a body shot that sends Stone's belly button to the back. Stone throws a head kick that misses. Steel scores with a punch to the head. Steel misses with a looping left.

Stann Stone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Steel, right into the meat.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Stone looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Stone throws a leg kick but Steel moved away. Max Steel is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Stone looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Steel is fending him off so far but Stone persists. Nope, Steel circles away and we're back to standing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Max Steel dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Steel tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stone was well out of range. Poor timing from Steel. Steel throws a right and a left that both miss. Steel lands with a thumping leg kick.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Steel. Steel lands with a shot to the body. Stone thows a leg kick but Steel checks it and Steel counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Steel comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A left and a right from Steel both land. Nice combination.

Stone is still on wobbly legs! Can Steel finish him? Steel is looking to wear down Stone with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Are you kidding me?! Steel ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Stone clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
