0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Niko Skorpio! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Samir Kahric! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Skorpio tries to clinch but Kahric moves away and Kahric counters with a nice leg kick. Kahric thows a body kick. Skorpio tries to catch it but that hurt him. Kahric with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Samir Kahric seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Skorpio moves out of range of the body kick from Kahric.
Kahric shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Skorpio as he jumps to the side. Nice defenses there by Skorpio. Skorpio tries to close the distance and clinch but Kahric swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Skorpio looks to throw the jab but Kahric is out of range. Skorpio slaps away a takedown attempt from Kahric, before circling back to the center of the mat. Donk. Skorpio catches Kahric right on the button with a cross.
That's one minute gone in the round. No luck with that takedown attempt from Kahric. Niko Skorpio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Samir Kahric. Skorpio misses with a wild body shot. Skorpio doesn't manage to clinch there - Kahric circles away.
Kahric fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Skorpio avoids it really well and circles away. Kahric with a poor takedown and Skorpio counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Kahric moves forwards but Skorpio connects with a nice, crisp jab. Kahric keeps the fight on the outside. Kahric misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Skorpio.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Skorpio is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Skorpio closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kahric to the mat! Kahric manages to get full guard. Skorpio would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Kahric not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Skorpio tries to clinch but Kahric is having none of it. Skorpio lands a right hook to the body.

He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Skorpio is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kahric is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kahric has escaped and now he's on top! Skorpio wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Niko Skorpio. Skorpio shoots in looking for a takedown. Kahric tries to sprawl out of it but Skorpio keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kahric manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Samir Kahric is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Skorpio ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Kahric throws a right and a left that both miss. Kahric misses with an uppercut. Kahric lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Skorpio circles away quickly and effectively. Skorpio tries to close the distance and clinch but Kahric swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Kahric gets caught flat footed, as Skorpio shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Kahric is trying to hold Skorpio in close to prevent damage but Skorpio has managed to pass into half guard.

We're going to have a standup here because Niko Skorpio wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Kahric connects with an inside leg kick. Kahric misses with a body punch
enabling Skorpio to counter with a crisp jab. Kahric drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Kahric tries for a takedown but Skorpio sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Skorpio manages to end up in side control. Kahric controls the position for a moment. Kahric wants to get back to his feet. Niko Skorpio is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Kahric takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Kahric is looking to regain half guard here but Skorpio keeps moving and retains side control.

I think Grymaunch might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Into The Battle - Ensifurm. Stomboli has chosen Volbeat - Pool of Booze as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Stomboli avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Grymaunch takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Stomboli just misses with a punch to the body.

Lee wants to stand but Molotch is controlling his posture from full guard. Molotch seems keen to control Lee's posture. Lee works over Molotch with some ground and pound from guard. Lee trying to control but Molotch is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Molotch working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Lee. Molotch keeping moving, preventing Lee from controlling successfully. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Hong Lee wasn't active enough on the ground. Lee shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Molotch manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Lee has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Molotch not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Molotch clinches up with Lee and pushes him back against the cage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lee misses with a knee to the head.

Lee blocks a body shot from Molotch. A battle for position here, against the cage. Molotch struggles to land a body shot inside as Lee controls his hands.

Both fighters working to control the clinch. Molotch is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Kneeeeees! Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Lee shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Molotch sprawls well. Molotch wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lee gets slowly back to his feet. Lee takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lee slips a jab from Molotch. Molotch ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lee moves away. Lee looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Molotch throws the left hand but Lee avoids the punch easily. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Molotch wants to clinch up but Lee keeps it at a distance. Lee slips a straight right by Molotch. Lee throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
And that's the end of the fight! Hong Lee comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Lee has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Attack shoots in but Basher avoids the takedown attempt easily. James Basher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zac Attack. No luck with that takedown attempt from Attack. Attack pivots, looking for a leg kick but Basher is out of range and Attack settles back down. Basher throws a wild combination but nothing lands. That could spell trouble for Grygera! Grygera is squirming around, avoiding Calamote's attempts to control the action. Calamote fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ralph lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Nasim looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Nasim swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ralph throws a right and a left that both miss. Nasim takes a kick to the side of the head. Ralph lands a head kick. Nasim smiles back at him and beckons him forward. That kick from Ralph tenderised Nasim's leg. Nasim is trying to keep his angry face on. Ralph feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Nasims jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Ralph connects with a high kick.
