Malapitan's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, My Time is Now. Estrella has chosen Lita Ford - Black Widow as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malapitan doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Estrella counters with a three punch combo that has Malapitan backing up. Malapitan nods at Estrella to acknowledge the strikes.
Malapitan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Estrella as he jumps to the side.
Estrella misses with a double jab.
Estrella defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Malapitan.

Malapitan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Estrella but Estrella pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Horrible takedown by Malapitan or perhaps it was just good defense by Estrella which made him look bad.

Malapitan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Estrella can do anything to dispel that myth.

Malapitan is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Estrella is trying to control the position but Malapitan postures up.
