1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Algenir Aguiar! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Alexandre Firmino and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aguiar closes the distance and clinches up with Beauregard, looking for a takedown. Aguiar pushes Beauregard against the cage but Beauregard circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Beauregard gets a clinch. Beauregard gets underhooks to prevent Aguiar's takedown attempt.
Aguiar has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Beauregard is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Adam Beauregard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Algenir Aguiar. Beauregard landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

We're back to striking at a distance. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Horrible takedown by Aguiar or perhaps it was just good defense by Beauregard which made him look bad. Beauregard tries to close the distance and clinch but Aguiar swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Beauregard shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Aguiar pinned against the cage. Aguiar gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Beauregard looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Aguiar slips a jab and a cross from Beauregard.
Beauregard looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Aguiar throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Beauregard tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Aguiar is in Beauregard's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Beauregard wants to stand and escape but Aguiar is having none of it. Aguiar lands a couple of elbows. Beauregard keeping moving, preventing Aguiar from controlling successfully. Aguiar is working Beauregard over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Aguiar is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Aguiar trying to control the position from guard on top but Beauregard is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Algenir Aguiar wasn't active enough on the ground. A good leg kick by Beauregard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beauregard gets caught napping as Aguiar dives in and scores a takedown. Beauregard manages to retain guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Aguiar working some strikes from top position. Aguiar won't allow Beauregard to get back to his feet. Aguiar working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Aguiar makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Beauregard is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Aguiar might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Beauregard kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Aguiar chips away with some ground and pound. Beauregard keeping moving, preventing Aguiar from controlling successfully. Aguiar working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Beauregard's head. Beauregard wants to sweep here but Aguiar controlling him for the moment. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Aguiar's corner. There ya go! There ya go! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Aguiar is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Aguiar controls from within his opponent's guard. Aguiar scoring with punches to the head and body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Algenir Aguiar dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Aguiar closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Aguiar lands a few punches from side control. Aguiar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Beauregard keeps working. Beauregard being controlled for a moment. Beauregard throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land. Beauregard is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Aguiar lands a decent elbow from side control. Beauregard on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Aguiar working the head with strikes. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Aguiar lands an elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aguiar lands some shots froms side control. Aguiar is putting a hurting on Beauregard here, landing some big shots from side control. Aguiar scores with a couple of short elbows. Aguiar controlling from side mount. Beauregard taking a bit of punishment here - Aguiar scoring with strikes. Algenir Aguiar has got the better of the ground game so far. Aguiar connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Beauregard some visible discomfort.

Beauregard is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A big shot lands for Aguiar! That's hurt Beauregard! Will he recover? Aguiar fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A nice inside leg kick there by Leben. That's going to slow Man down. A decent looking body kick lands there for Leben. Leben throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Leben throws a leg kick which misses Man's front leg but catches the back leg as Man tries to avoid it. Leben scores with the left hand. Man knows he should have avoided that one. Leben cracks the inside of Man's front leg. Leben throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Man.
It looks like Boxer Man has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Man is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Gilbert Leben seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Leben rushes Man and presses him up against the cage. Leben slowing the pace effectively. Leben lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. A short right hand to the side of the head by Leben. Man wants to stall.
Leben scores with a shoulder strike. Leben lands with a right to the head. Leben unloads a knee to the mid-section. Man lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Leben as Man tries to tie him up. Man is breathing heavily. Man misses with an elbow over the top.

We're going to have a standup here because Boxer Man wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Leben.
Both fighters circling a little - Leben finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Leben scores with a head kick. Man tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Leben scoring well with a low kick there.

Will he be able to recover?!! Man takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Leben scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Man seems to have got his legs back now. Leben thows a body kick. Man tries to catch it but that hurt him. An inside leg kick lands from Leben. Leben moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Leben turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Boxer Man is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Leben tries for a takedown but Man sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. An inside leg kick lands from Leben.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Michaels shoots for a double leg takedown but Uusierkki sprawls well. He's pushed Michaels's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Uusierkki clinches with his opponent.

Michaels can't keep his opponent in guard - Uusierkki advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Uusierkki sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Michaels defending well though. Uusierkki is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Michaels defends it well. Michaels really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Uusierkki. Willis dives in and grabs Adulyadej's left leg, looking for a takedown. Adulyadej pushes down on Willis's head and hops out. Adulyadej fails in his attempt to clinch. Adulyadej tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Willis counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Adulyadej's guard now.
