The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McFarlen lunges at Dragunov with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Dragunov's hand.
McFarlen is looking to clinch but Dragunov is avoiding it.
Dragunov dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on McFarlen. That did some damage!
Dragunov wants to land a leg kick but McFarlen is out of range.
Dragunov connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dragunov feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to McFarlen's calf.
McFarlen lets loose with a powerful body kick. Dragunov will feel that in the morning.
McFarlen misses with a two punch combination.
Dragunov just misses with a punch to the body.
McFarlen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dragunov swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Dragunov is looking to chop away at McFarlen's legs.

McFarlen works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Dragunov lands with a slapping head kick.

Both fighters circling a little - McFarlen finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
McFarlen blocks a head kick by Dragunov.

McFarlen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dragunov paws at him with a jab and circles away.
McFarlen lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Dragunov at a distance.
Dragunov is breathing heavily.
McFarlen throws the kick towards the body but Dragunov avoids it.
McFarlen throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Dragunov takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Dragunov has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by McFarlen.
McFarlen scores with a crisp jab that stopped Dragunov in his tracks.
McFarlen throws the kick towards the body but Dragunov avoids it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The fighters circling - McFarlen throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Dragunov circles away from the clinch attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McFarlen tries to land a knee to the head but Dragunov blocks with his arms.
McFarlen misses with a knee to the head.
McFarlen stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
McFarlen lands an elbow that stopped Dragunov in his tracks for a moment.

It looks like Maxim Dragunov has been cut.
A short right from McFarlen on the inside.
McFarlen crunches a lovely knee into Dragunov's ribcage.
McFarlen lands with a short shot to the head.
McFarlen has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Dragunov - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from McFarlen, and another! Dragunov is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
