The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crime lands with a hook. Karalis tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Karalis tests Crime's chin there with a solid looking shot. Karalis throws a sloppy head kick and Crime moves out of range easily. Karalis throws a front kick aimed at Crime's knee but Crime avoids it well. Crime pivots, looking for a leg kick but Karalis is out of range and Crime settles back down. Crime throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Crime connects with a solid leg kick. Karalis misses with a wild combination.
Crime throws out a powerful jab. Karalis stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Crime. Karalis takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! The fight stays on the outside here - Crime looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Crime swings for the body but Karalis moves out of range.
Karalis closes the distance and clinches up with Crime, looking for a takedown. Karalis pushes Crime against the cage but Crime circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Optimus Crime has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alysian Karalis. Crime misses with a body kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Optimus Crime dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Alysian Karalis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Karalis with a lazy takedown attempt and Crime counters with a body kick that stops Karalis in his tracks momentarily. Crime misses with a jab, cross combination.
Crime throws the kick towards the body but Karalis avoids it. Crime is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. A chopping leg kick lands by Crime. Crime misses with a wild body shot. A combination from Karalis does no damage. Some bone on bone action there as Karalis checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Karalis throws a right and a left that both miss. Karalis takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Crime feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Karaliss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Karalis is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Karalis shoots in looking for a takedown but Crime manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Karalis's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Optimus Crime has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alysian Karalis. Crime throws a nice inside leg kick. Karalis tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Crime manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Crime - that will leave a mark!

He's obviously looking to slow Karalis down.

Is it all over??? No! Crime has escaped and now he's on top! Crime got a little sloppy there for a moment and Karalis has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! letting Ang counter with a right hand. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Alves, as that shot connected.

Ang gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Alves gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Ang is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Green throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Chargaff. Green steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Chargaff. Green shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Green looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
