The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ignashov throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Some wild striking there from Lewis.
Ignashov feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Lewis's calf. Lewis closes the distance and pushes Ignashov back into the cage. Ignashov lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Lewis backwards.
It looks like Lenny Lewis has been cut. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Lewis. Lewis tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Ignashov scores with a shoulder strike. Lewis blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

That has opened up Lenny Lewis's cut even more. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lewis misses with a short punch on the inside. Lewis presses Ignashov against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Ignashov stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joseph is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Lee misses with a straight right. Lee looks to land a left hand but Joseph moved out of range nicely. Joseph moves out of range of the body kick from Lee.
Lee uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Joseph.

That's going to take a lot out of him. Lee throws a hook but Joseph blocks it. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lee throws an overhand right that lands on Joseph's shoulder, as Joseph tries to avoid the shot. Lee throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Joseph misses with a low kick. Lee tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Joseph was well out of range. Poor timing from Lee. Joseph bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Joseph drives through with a takedown into guard. Lee bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Joseph's guard. Joseph is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Joseph is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Joseph here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Lee throws a head kick that misses and Joseph counters with a nice uppercut. Good leg kick by Joseph there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Lee throws a right and a left that Joseph avoids nicely. Joseph slips under a jab from Lee. Lee misses with an uppercut. Joseph saw that one coming. Lee wants to clinch up but Joseph keeps it at a distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice body punch from Joseph. Lee is breathing heavily. Joseph throws a body punch but Lee moves out of range. Lee misses the shot to the body. Joseph shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lee manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Lee pulls Joseph in close to his closed guard and prevents Joseph from doing any damage or advancing position. William Joseph overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lee preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Joseph is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Joseph postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Lee being controlled here, momentarily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Joseph wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lee keeps working. Joseph is thwarting Lee's attempts to control the position. Joseph is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Lee is controlling Joseph's position as best he can from this difficult position. Lee tries to kick Joseph off but Joseph keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Jason Lee has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Lee takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Joseph slows the pace down in half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Joseph seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lee for as long as he can get away with.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Lee takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Joseph throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lee tries to clinch up. Lee swings widly with a right hand
and Joseph counters with a leg kick. Lee throws a looping overhand right but Joseph ducks down to avoid it. Joseph takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Lee on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Lee throws out a loose jab but Joseph uses good head movement to avoid it. Lee throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Joseph makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Joseph uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Joseph scoring well with a low kick there.
Joseph connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
And that's the end of the fight! William Joseph showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Joseph, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bantum doesn't succeed with the takedown and Trash connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Trash lands a jab. Trash dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Trash dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Trash lands a nice shot that snaps Bantum's head back.
Trash misses with a two punch combination.
Bantum with a lazy takedown attempt and Trash cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Bantum has his takedown stuffed and Trash counters with a right hand to the body. Texas Trash has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bull Bantum. Bantum looks gassed! Bantum tries for a takedown but Trash circles away easily enabling Trash to counter with a crisp jab. Bantum shoots and misses and Trash counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Trash lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
That's one minute gone in the round. A lazy left from Trash finds it's target. Bantum is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Trash lands a jab.
Bantum is rocked! Bantum gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Trash gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Steele bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Steele paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Steele lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Popo at a distance.
Steele drives through with a takedown into guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Steele advances to half guard. Popo looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Popo looking for submissions off his back. Steele seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Popo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McEvoy connects with an inside leg kick. Robertson throws a right hand that McEvoy ducks under and follows up with a left that McEvoy also avoids with ease. Robertson throws a jab but it's blocked by McEvoy. Some bone on bone action there as Robertson checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. The fighters circling - Robertson throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Robertson looks to throw the jab but McEvoy is out of range. McEvoy misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Robertson.
