Mantiega has chosen Gimme Shelter as his entrance music. Pedro Mantiega told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! Mantiega shoots and misses
enabling Pride to counter with a crisp jab.
Mantiega throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pride's waist but Pride gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mantiega off to one side.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mantiega.

Unis lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Helguera up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Unis from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Helguera's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Houdini looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pratt with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
