Saint Piere throws a jab when Hurt was well out of range.
Sloppy strikes from Saint Piere. Those never looked like landing.
Saint Piere takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Hurt closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Saint Piere's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Hurt stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Saint Piere lands with a nice combination. Hurt backs away looking to recover.
Saint Piere seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Hurt shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Saint Piere is backing up but Hurt catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Saint Piere covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Hurt Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Knepp throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
E throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
E ducks under a wild hook from Knepp.
E lands with a nice body punch.
E fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Knepp on the side of the head.

and E takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

E is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Knepp rather than just go for the knockout.

Knepp shoots in and bounces E off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Knepp is pushing down on E's leg trying to pass to half guard. E is fighting to maintain full guard but Knepp has managed to sneak the leg through.
E really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Knepp. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Knepp is working for a submission of some sort.

Knepp is sneakily working for an arm triangle but E sees it coming and defends easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
E is looking to escape.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Knepp wants to lay and pray for a moment but E keeps working.

That was a close fourth round but I would say that Jebidiah Knepp will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Knepp dips to his left and cracks E with an uppercut!
Knepp lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as E backs up against the cage.
E looks to score with a jab to the body but Knepp is just out of range.
Knepp scores with a hook to the body. E takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Knepp pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
E lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Knepp throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck E on the side of the head.

Knepp walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

E throws a sloppy head kick and Knepp moves out of range easily.
E's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Knepp lands with a shot to the body.
Knepp tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Knepp connects with the punch.
Mr E has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

E throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
E slaps away a takedown attempt from Knepp, before circling back to the center of the mat.
E throws a nice outside leg kick.
Knepp misses with an attempted mid kick.
E tries a head kick but it misses.
Knepp lands a lovely overhand right.
E keeps the fight on the outside.
E digs a good hook to Knepp's body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt.
E feints and then cracks Knepp's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Knepp down.

Knepp tries to clinch up but E circles away and keeps his distance.

and Knepp decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in E's guard.

E wants to get back to his feet.
Knepp is taking a breather. E says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
This has been an exciting period of action!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Knepp has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Well Knepp has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
