The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tomb tries to close the distance and clinch but France swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

France moves into the clinch.
Tomb has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. France is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
A frustrated look appears on Tomb's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Tomb trying to control the position but instead, France has worked for underhooks and has pushed Tomb into the cage.
France putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Tomb in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Tomb fails to pull guard.

France jumps into guard, dragging Tomb to the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Durkin throws a right hand that Tyrion ducks under and follows up with a left that Tyrion also avoids with ease.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Boyko can do anything to dispel that myth.
Purnu sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Boyko's guard.

Nice defenses there by Kawozinazaki.
Malinowsky looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Malinowsky throws the left hand but Kawozinazaki avoids the punch easily.
Kawozinazaki shoots in looking for a takedown but Malinowsky manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kawozinazaki's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Kawozinazaki blocks the body kick.

Kawozinazaki manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Malinowsky on his heels. He'll look to pass Malinowsky's guard now, I'm sure.
Kawozinazaki is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Kawozinazaki drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Kawozinazaki seems to have locked his on tight now - Malinowsky screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Kawozinazaki, as he picks up the win!
