Proaburt changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Le Grand tries to avoid it but Proaburt manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Le Grand to the ground. Le Grand escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Kenichi Hosakawa and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gregson has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Istaz.
Gregson moves to clinch but Istaz breaks away
and Istaz cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gregson.
Istaz lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Gregson at a distance.
Gregson looks gassed!
Istaz scores with a sloppy right hand. Gregson should have avoided that one.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Istaz cracks Gregson with a big right hand and Gregson goes down!
Gregson is rocked!
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Istaz's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Gregson is still in real trouble! Can Istaz finish him?
Istaz loads up on a big left hand. Gregson felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Istaz looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Gregson can't hide his disappointment, as Istaz celebrates the victory.

letting Miyasako counter with a right hand.
Couture tries for a takedown but Miyasako circles away easily
and Miyasako counters with a nice low kick that buckles Couture's knee momentarily.
Miyasako buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Miyasako throws a leg kick which misses Couture's front leg but catches the back leg as Couture tries to avoid it.
Couture has his takedown stuffed
and Miyasako counters with a slapping leg kick.
Hiroyuki Miyasako has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randy Couture.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Miyasako throws a leg kick which misses Couture's front leg but catches the back leg as Couture tries to avoid it.
Couture looks gassed!

Miyasako fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Couture on the side of the head.
Miyasako closes the distance and pushes Couture back into the cage.
Couture is trying desperately to land a takedown but Miyasako is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Couture.

Miyasako drops Couture with a big knee straight up the middle! Couture is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

It looks like Randy Couture has been cut.
Hiroyuki Miyasako is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A head kick by Miyasako - that's a beauty! Couture is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Miyasako can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
