The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punk throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bologna's waist but Bologna gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Punk off to one side.
Punk shoots in but Bologna avoids the takedown attempt easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bologna looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bologna is looking to clinch but Punk is avoiding it.
Bologna fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Punk has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Bologna paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

It looks like DJ Punk has been cut.

Bologna has closed the distance and engaged Punk in a clinch.
