Ladi has chosen You Will Never Walk Alone as his entrance music. Rehti Ladi told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rantala connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Ladi takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Ladi feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Rantala's calf. Ladi keeps the fight on the outside. Ladi blocks a head kick by Rantala.
Rantala ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ladi moves away. Rantala fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ladi, pushing him back against the cage. Ladi misses with an elbow strike.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Ladi just misses with a elbow thrown towards Rantala's brow. Ladi tries a knee to the head but Rantala blocks it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A head punch blocked on the inside by Rantala. A nice glancing elbow lands by Ladi. Ladi fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Rantala throws the kick towards the body but Ladi avoids it. Rantala throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ladi. Ladi chopping away at his opponent's legs.
An inside leg kick lands from Ladi. Ladi thumps Rantala with a low kick. Ladi keeps the fight on the outside. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ladi buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Rantala ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Ladi lands with a nice body kick. Rantala is breathing heavily. Ladi closes the distance and clinches. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Ladi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rantala moves away. Rantala on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. A slapping leg kick lands for Ladi.

Ladi connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Ladi lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Ladi scores with a nice body kick.

The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Ladi feints and then cracks Rantala's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rantala down. A looping hook to the body misses from Rantala. Ladi does a little dance to reset his feet. Ladi misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rantala.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rantala throws a sloppy head kick and Ladi moves out of range easily. Rantala looks to land a right hand but Ladi moved out of range. Pasi Rantala has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rehti Ladi is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Rantala misses with the combination.
And that's the end of the fight! Rehti Ladi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Ladi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

I think Burton might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Crying Game - Professor Green. Nappi has chosen O Fortuna as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Nappi cracks the inside of Burton's front leg. Burton fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nappi manages to avoid it. Burton tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Burton tries to clinch but fails miserably and Nappi counters with a takedown into side control. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Nappi trying to control the position but Burton is working away. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nappi is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Burton is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Burton is trying to get back to his feet.

It looks like Eino Nappi has been cut. Burton is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Nappi is defending well for now. Nappi landing knees to the head.
Nappi breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Nappi shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Burton as he jumps to the side. Burton misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Burton takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Burton throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Nappi stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. The fight stays on the outside here - Burton looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Burton tries to clinch there but Nappi circles away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Burton wants to clinch up but Nappi keeps it at a distance. Burton fails with an attempt to clinch.
A head kick by Burton misses and Nappi counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Burton! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Burton tries to hold on but Nappi pushes him away. Nappi prevents Burton from getting the reversal. Nappi has isolated one of Burton's arms. Burton looking to fight him off but Nappi twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beastmaster misses with a hook to the body
and Pony counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Beastmaster wants to clinch up but Pony keeps it at a distance. Pony swinging wildly here.
Pony throws a looping overhand right but Beastmaster ducks down to avoid it. Beastmaster moves into range and clinches up with Pony. Beastmaster is trying to drag Pony to the mat but Pony just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. A frustrated look appears on Pony's face as he tries to break the clinch. Pony looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Beastmaster drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Pony gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Beastmaster tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Pony's elbow. Beastmaster has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Pony is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kodarc Beastmaster. He's hooked one of Beastmaster's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Beastmaster's back!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Bob does no damage. BLaszczak dodges the punch combination from Bob.
BLaszczak misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. BLaszczak shoots in looking for a takedown but Bob manages to keep the fight standing, pushing BLaszczak's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Some wild striking there from Bob.
Bob shoots in for a double leg but BLaszczak sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. BLaszczak tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bob swivels and escapes. This has been an exciting period of action! The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Kaipainen tries to stand but Midas is controlling from the bottom. Midas escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kaipainen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Fransisco connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Nice body punch from Fransisco. Fransisco misses with a straight right. Nice sprawl there from Fransisco as Greycie shoots in. A jab from Fransisco misses. Greycie looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Fransisco is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jab from Fransisco. Greycie takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Fransisco works the jab nicely. Fransisco dances in with a quick combination. Greycie is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Fransisco snaps Greycie's head back. Greycie stumbles backwards against the cage. Fransisco steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Greycie's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Greycie just didn't come prepared.
