1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ted Bradley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Robert Deby! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Eliza Hachem and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bradley defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Deby. Deby with a poor takedown and Bradley counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Deby's guard now. Bradley trying to control but Deby is working from the bottom. Bradley chips away with some ground and pound. Bradley slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Bradley is looking to work some ground and pound but Deby has wrist control. Bradley trying to control the position from guard on top but Deby is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bradley seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Bradley sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Deby's guard.

Bennett has chosen Smuggly Ugly as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nidorenko lands with a shot to the body. Nidorenko sizes up Bennett with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Bennett closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Nidorenko's guard. Nidorenko is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Bennett has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Nidorenko is proving hard to escape from. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Bennettis looking to pass into half guard but Nidorenko pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Nidorenko is in guard. Bennett has a closed guard, preventing Nidorenko from standing up. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Austin Nidorenko. I think Bennett has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
