The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bowers shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Huber as he jumps to the side. Huber moves into the clinch. Bowers tries for a takedown. No joy.
Huber prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tommy Bowers. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bowers goes for a takedown attempt but Huber pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Bowers is trying to break free. Bowers really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Huber prevents the takedown attempt.

Bowers is trying to trip Huber. He has hold of a leg but Huber is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Bowers persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Bowers slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Bowers trying to control the position from guard on top but Huber is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Huber working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bowers. Huber wants to sweep but no luck. Huber working for a triangle but Bowers defends it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bowers drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bowers jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Bowers got a little sloppy there for a moment and Huber has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bowers has managed to get both his arms back between Huber's legs - danger averted. Bowers stopping the sweep attempt from Huber. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bowers makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cody Huber dominated that round. The cut man is working on Tommy Bowers's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Bowers shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bowers was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Bowers punishing his opponent with strikes. Huber tries to reverse the position but Bowers maintains control. Bowers working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Huber looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Bowers! Submission of the night perhaps?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ryan throws a head kick that misses. Ryan waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Nielsen. Ryan throws a right hand that misses
and Nielsen holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Nielsen with a knee to the head.
Nielsen lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
It looks like Javarius Ryan has been cut. Nielsen drops Ryan with a big knee straight up the middle! Ryan is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Ryan is rocked! Nielsen lands a huge takedown. Ryan is out but the ref is slow to react and Nielsen lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Ryan lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.

Silva has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Donovan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Silva escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Donovan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Silva throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Donovan is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Donovan maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Silva could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Donovan has cracked it and Silva is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Donovan!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gagarin tries to clinch but Heimdall moves away and Heimdall counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Heimdall is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Heimdall works over Gagarin with some ground and pound from guard. Gagarin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Heimdall can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Heimdall advances to half guard. Gagarin looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Heimdall is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Gagarin doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Heimdall.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gagarin has hold of Heimdall's hands but Heimdall slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Heimdall passes the guard and advances to mount! Heimdall lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Gagarin is in all sorts of trouble here.
Heimdall landing strikes, looking to finish! Heimdall with a couple of short strikes. Gagarin is bucking up trying to escape but Heimdall cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Gagarin is trying desperately to improve position. Heimdall takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Gagarin is desperately trying to improve his position but Heimdall has a good base and remains in mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gagarin wants to get back to his feet.
Gagarin looks gassed! Heimdall with a couple of short strikes. The referee warns Gagarin that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Gagarin tries to hold on but Heimdall pushes him away. Gagarin takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Gagarin is in a horrible position here. Heimdall smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Heimdall won't let Gagarin get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Heimdall scoring with strikes but Gagarin is staying in there. Heimdall putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Gagarin is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Oooooh, big shot lands for Heimdall! Gagarin is hurt baaadly! Heimdall is firing away with more strikes - Gagarin is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

It looks like Wanderlei Silva has been cut. No joy there for Sylvia, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sylvia is looking to clinch. Sylvia throws a series of punches but Silva avoids them all with ease. Sylvia misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Silva will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Sylvia throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Silva is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zoidberg takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Zoidberg shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Oliveira counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Oliveira throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Zoidberg sees it coming and avoids it easily. Zoidberg shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Oliveira as he jumps to the side. Oliveira scores with a one two! Zoidberg had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Zoidberg uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Oliveira. Oliveira tries to clinch there but Zoidberg circles away.
Zoidberg has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Zoidberg there as he acknowledges the shot. Oliveira throws a shot from downtown. Zoidberg moves away and avoids it. Raimundo Oliveira is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oliveira looks to land a left hand but Zoidberg moved out of range nicely. Oliveira misses with a hook. Zoidberg ducked under it nicely. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Oliveira throws a big shot that misses. Oliveira getting the better of the striking in that exchange. A cross from Oliveira lands. Oliveira lands a body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zoidberg looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Oliveira is fending him off so far but Zoidberg persists. Nope, Oliveira circles away and we're back to standing. Oliveira is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Zoidberg had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Oliveira slaps away a takedown attempt from Zoidberg, before circling back to the center of the mat. Oliveira throws out a loose jab but Zoidberg uses good head movement to avoid it. Zoidberg fails with a takedown attempt. A big right from Oliveira misses. Zoidberg shoots and misses and Oliveira counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zoidberg looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Oliveira scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Oliveira throws a lazy right hand but Zoidberg sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A telegraphed right hand from Oliveira misses the target. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pinto tries for a takedown but Vrabiuta sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Pinto avoids the head kick by Vrabiuta.
